Picture above is what the servant (palace girls) wear, the blue one worn by the servants who serve royal family, the green one worn by the servants who work in royal kitchen, the hot pink one worn byservants who work in clothing department (making clothes), the red one worn by servants who work with Physician, and the light pink one worn by servants girls work in washing clothing department.
PS: this hanfu is worn by servant girls, their position is one of the lowest in the Palace especially among Palace girls. Lady Xu wore something different which I will explain on next chappy.

Xiulan Pov
"Guniang... your father and mother are waiting for you in their chamber." Huidai informed me in that night after my birthday celebration.
I turned towards her before smiling sweetly, "Hao, Xiexie Huidai...I will go to their room now.." after that I immediately walked to my parent's chamber as Huidai bowed down showing her respect leaving my chamber slowly. I was so confused and a bit of scared now, my feelings kept feeling something was wrong here especially with my dearest father. Since father had been so quite after he went back from the palace days ago.
"Die, Niang... Xiulan is here..." I announced before I walked in that chamber.
There was Changming-Xiankunzhong who was sitting in front of father. I bowed at them before I rose in a slow motion taking a seat beside Xiankunzhong.
"Diē (Father), is there something important until you want me to come here...?"I started bending my body politely.
He sighed as worries could be seen clearly on his expression after hearing my question. It was so strange, I never saw Father to be like this before. Something was clearly wrong and it was bothering him.
A sweat of my father's rolled down from his forehead, he kept clenching his fist his habit when he was in trouble. I glanced at my Niang who has been so quite since I came here. Her eyes got teary like she held back her tears hardly. Whats wrong here??
