Hello, all!
Enjoy. Basically all I can say. Also I drew the pic at the bottom. Also I'm majorly fangirling.
Lily
Lily's POV:
I was trying to be angry with Scorpius, but I couldn't. After he'd drawn the number four and our team (Scorpius, Albus, Fred, Roxanne, Danielle Finnigan, Lorcan's younger brother, Lysander, and me) had gone to sit in the stands he'd explained to me that he hadn't asked Rose to kiss him, that they hadn't had any understanding whatsoever. I could see why he'd been so shocked and reacted so suddenly.
"But Scorpius, I don't understand," I told him. "Rose is pretty. She's clever. She's nice. What more do you want?"
"There are a lot of pretty, clever, and nice girls at Hogwarts."
Albus, who had been listening in, shrugged. "I rather think Lils is right, mate. Rose deserves a good boyfriend. And-"
"You know her father would never agree."
I shrugged. "Makes it more interesting."
"Look," Fred, who had joined Albus, added, "No point in breaking her heart. Just ask her out. Maybe you'll learn to like her."
I nodded. "You should do it. She'd appreciate it."
"No!"
I sighed. "Fine. In other news, who's excited for the other schools to arrive on Monday?"
Albus grinned. "I think it's excellent. French girls-"
"I know all about French girls, Al," Roxanne groaned. She had been at Beauxbatons for her first three years of school and had transferred out. "They're conceited, egotistical-"
"-and drop-dead gorgeous," Lysander finished, grinning.
"I know someone who's drop-dead-gorgeous," someone said behind me. I turned to see Lorcan and instinctively moved up against Scorpius, who put an arm around me and scowled at Lorcan. "Bugger off, Scamander."
"Hey! That's my brother you're talking to!" Lysander said angrily.
Scorpius turned towards him. "And did you know that your fantastic brother here has no respect for Lily's personal space?"
Lorcan put his hands up, grinning. "She doesn't object to my invasion of it, Scorp."
I stiffened. I was fearless Lily Potter II! What was I doing acting like a frightened child?
I glared at him and sprang to my feet, my fear gone. I pulled my wand out and stuck it under his chin. "Want to say that again, you filthy, dung-minded git?"
Lorcan swallowed, then winced as my wand pressed into his skin still further. "No."
I released him. "Good." Then I looked to Lysander. "Is he playing today?" According to the impromptu Quidditch rules, hexing another player counted as sabotage and meant you could be disqualified.
Lysander shook his head. "He said he wasn't feeling well." He had a rather disgusted look on his face as he watched Lorcan. My guess was that he hadn't heard Lorcan say the filthy things he'd said to me to other girls.
