Chapter 11

The soft sound of music woke me up from my sleep.

I slowly opened my eyes when i realized someone was touching me. My blurry vision cleared and i was staring at derrick.

He was driving and when i looked around i noticed we were in his car. I sat up more and his eyes glanced over my way.

A small smile appeared on his face "i see your finally woke beautiful."

I yawned rubbing my eyes "yeah how long have i been out." I rubbed my swore neck as he turned a corner. "Just for a half an hour" he said rubbing my hand he was holding with his thumb.

I sat up more looking around. We were surrounded by trees which was normal in Michigan. Its forest was always lush healthy and green.

"Where are we going" i asked looking back at him. "To my house" he said hitting another turn before the big gold flashy gates appeared.

Gates i knew oh to well. "Oh" i said as he pulled up slowly and the gates opened.

He drove down his long drive way which was surrounded with grass and huge beautiful pine trees.

A gigantic fountain laid in the middle of the drive way. Little stone animals and mini cupids making up its design as it squirts water.

The house was huge and no matter how many times i came and walked around it i never got use to its size.

There was about 50 rooms not including the kitchens bathrooms and living rooms.

Their was 4 flours and a huge pool in the backyard and one in the house. Derrick pulled up to the front of the house stopping the car in the many parking spots in the lawn.

As always there was people here. Kids running around parents sitting on the lawn. Teens laughing and enjoying each others company.

It was always alive here. Even though i didn't like to be around people i was fine here. For some weird reason i felt at home here.

Derrick got out the car and came to my side to open my door. I got out taking his hand the way i use to when i came over in shana limousine.

She didn't want it anymore after we became sophomores saying she was too old to be chauffeur around. I personally think you are never too old for a limousine.

"Welcome back" derrick said giving me his dashing once in a life time smiles. I blushed feeling my stomach flip.

Its so weird how he only seems to care when I'm around.

I didn't notice the many people staring at us i was too lost in his beautiful face.

He pulled me up the flight of marble white stairs which had two stone wolves on each side. I always thought they were gorgeous but pretty scary.

Before we were even three steps from the door they flew open. "RENA DARLING I MISSED YOU SO" Jenna said not surprising me at all.

I laughed at my other mother before she pulled me into her arms. "It feels like it been forever" she said pulling away to look at me.

"My have you grown darling" she said brushing my frizzy hair to the side. I laughed again i loved this woman "I was just here last week jen."

"And your hair has grown an inch longer how becoming" she said nodding her head.

I rolled my eyes before derrick arm wrapped around my waist pulling me to him. I blushed remembering jenna was right in front of us.

She smiled knowingly "and how is my son treating you." I looked the other way avoiding her eye contact "fine" i murmured before i heard her giggle.
