Chapter 16

Cold.. It was so cold. I hated how cold it was.

It was dark. So dark, like a empty cave that only bats lived in. I felt empty.

I took a hesitant step forward. Not knowing what to do. The more steps i took the warmer it felt.

When i finally seen light i was surprised to see snow.

I walked out into the bright snow. Feeling like this was deja vu.

Still i continued until all i could feel and hear was the crunch of snow under my feet.

Something from the edge of my vision moved. I quickly glanced that way only to see nothing but falling snow.

I looked around sensing someone was here with me. My heart beat picked up.

I looked around following anything that move or budge. There was nothing as far as i could see.

I almost continued to walk until i felt hot breath blow against my neck. I shivered as a chill ran up the length of my spine.

I slowly turned my head. My eyes widen when i noticed that a big white wolf stood before me.

It wasn't just any white wolf but it was the one from my dreams. Its blue icy eyes stared me down watching every movement i made.

I was terrified. The only thing that kept me rooted to the spot was the fact that if i ran he would chase me.

That wouldn't be a good thing for me at all. I did notice that he wasn't growling at me just staring.

I didn't move though out of sheer terror of my death by such a massive creature.

He jerked his head sideways still looking at me.

Suddenly he turned around and started walking. When i didn't follow he looked back at me in warning.

Every cell in my body told me to move. I knew if i didn't ill be good as dead. A memory only left for the snow to see.

So i forced myself to walk and soon he continued along.

We walked for a while nothing changing everything still covered in crystal clear white snow.

Suddenly the wolf stopped and i almost bumped into him. He crouched down looking menacing.

I stared at him scared that he was going to attack me but he wasn't looking at me. Instead he was looking in front of him.

I looked up to see a distant figure standing alone in the snow. I stared trying to figure out why they looked so familiar.

The width of those strong shoulders and denseness of their back. Hair black and shiney which curled carelessly around their head.

I took a step forward without realizing it. The person head snapped up at the sound of the snow crunching under my feet.

I stopped moving as the person turned around. A grasp of shock escaped my lips when i seen it was derrick.

He looked terrifying. His eyes were all black not one inch or white or the dark chocolate i have become accustomed to.

His beautiful body was covered in blood so much blood i felt sick even from this distance.

His beautiful full lips were pulled back in a menacing way showing off sharp canine teeth. It frightened me he frightened me.

"Der.. Derrick" i said my voice going high pitch. His eyes locked on me and he growled at me causing me to flinch backwards.

The white wolf next to me growled at derrick scaring me to death and upsetting me.
