Chapter 10

Today, was August 1st and that meant school in less than a of couple weeks. I hated school with a burning passion, it’s just so boring and the teachers don’t really want to be there. It is such a struggle.

I decided to call Nick, he always texts/calls me first so I thought it would be okay to call him. Everyone says ‘You’re the boy you text first’, which I thought was dumb because if the boy likes you enough he won’t care. Anyways, he didn’t pick up so I just put the phone down and woke Ella up. Ella could sleep until 5pm in my room if you’d let her, but she had a long flight to New York today. I was mad because I wasn’t going, but she was flying in to see her sister. 

I drove her to the airport, and we said our good-byes. It was about an hour drive back home, so I called Nicole. 

“Hey girl!”, she said on the other line. She sounded enthusiastic which was normal for her. 

“Hey want to go clothes shopping for school?” I said back to her. 

“No, I hate shopping!”, She answered. 

“Fine, I will go by my self”, I yelled jokingly. 

“Call me when you are done”, She laughed.

I hung up the phone, I hated shopping by my self it was just awkward. Going to the mall was a different story, sometimes you would see old couples walking around, and sometimes you would see middle school couples. I personally think middle schoolers don’t know what they are doing, they just hold hands and kiss in the middle of the walkway. Ugh.
