“This is the Cash Cab, I will drive you to your destination and you can answer some questions to win money. If you get three strikes you have to get dropped off where we are at that moment. You have three helps. So to start off what are your names?” the man was talking really fast.

“I am Cara, this is Nicole, James, Ella, Allie, Dylan, Nick, Aaron, and Melissa.” I said anxious to play. 

“Nice to meet you, the first question is worth 50 points. Here we go, What melody is often referred to as the kissing disease?” 

We looked at each other and whispered, “I think its mono.” James said to everyone. 

“Yeah I think mono too.” Nick said agreeing. 

“Okay we are going with mono.” Ella said answering the cash cab man. I crossed my fingers just in case we were wrong.

“That is correct, you now have 50 points -” We all screeched in happiness. “Next question is, What ice cream brand was actually introduced in 1961 by a couple from the Bronx?” he said still driving.

“Umm....” I said to everyone, looking in the back seat.

“It’s not Ben & Jerry’s” Nicole said. Looking at Allie, who was laughing.

“Häagen-Dazs” Melissa said confident in her answer.

“Yes that is correct, you have 100 points on the board. These next questions are worth 100 points and they are harder. The question is, What old university on the west coast is known as UW?” 

“It’s gotta be University of Washington..”I said thinking out loud.

“Yeah that’s the only one with a W over there.” Allie said looking at me.

“Okay we will go with that, University of Washington.” I answered the cash cab driver.

“Correct again! Good job, The next question is On the show sinefield what command is an authorization of ‘Get Up’? 

“Uhh... I don’t think any of us has watched that.” Ella said looking worried.

“Yeah I don’t know man.” James said to Aaron.

“You have 5 seconds” The cash cab man said to us.

“Hurry pick an answer guys!” Melissa shouted to everyone.

“Ooo time is up. That is your first strike, two more and I will have to kick you out.”

“Dammit guys..” I said to everyone laughing.

“You next question is, What iconic fender guitar was introduced in 1954 as a follow up in a telecaster model? This will also be your last question because we are at your destination.”

“Oh I know this!” Aaron shouted happily. “A Stratocaster” he yelled to the man.

“That is correct! You win $200 dollars in the trip. It was a short destination, but you guys did good. Here is your money in cash, have a nice time in New York.” The man smiled giving us our money. We got out of the car with the money, walking to the Art Museum. 

“Did that really just happen? Wish I took pictures, bummer.” Nicole said to us looking disappointed.
