Once Upon a Time: Ever After High (Book 3)

Ch.2 A thought

Now at school, Elena and Olivia got out of the car and walked across the grass towards the entrance of Storybrooke High. Their school was more like a castle with it's many stories and old vintage sightings, many claimed that their school used to be a real castle, but no one knows who it belonged to in the first place.

"Hey Elena!" a happy voice was heard.

The girls turned and saw Lauren Cooper, also known as Madeline Hatter, daughter of the Mad Hatter heading towards them with a smile on her face as always.

"Hey Lauren" Elena smiled "How you been?"

"Oh I've been good, been trying to create more tea flavors for my father's diner, but being stuck in the real world only gives me lame flavors, I mean there's no spritzle-fizzle, no dragon scale, no chocolate rhubarb pumpkin raspberry dragon-fire tea! And do you know how much I am missing those flavors?! It's driving me mad!"

"Oh I know how you feel" Elena confessed "But we're not at Ever After, this is the real world with, real flavors".

Lauren gave a sigh.

"So have you found a way to fully break the curse yet?" she asked.

"Not yet, I mainly need Brooke's help, where is she by the way?"

"I think she's inside".

"Well I need to talk to her, we still need to find a cure for this curse".

"Hey Lauren" Olivia said "So how are things going with your Wonderland friends?"

"It's going well, it's great that we're all together again".

"Do you miss Wonderland?" Elena asked.

"Yeah, but we can still visit whenever we want, I wonder what's going on there now?"

"I bet it's just all Wonderland nonsense down there" Elena smirked "You know, the usual stuff".

At that point the bell ring.

"Well we gotta get to class" Elena said "I'll see you later Lauren".

"Kk, bye" Lauren smiled as she left.

As Elena and Olivia were heading to class, a thought came to Olivia's head.

"Elena" she said "Do you think another person will come to Storybrooke?'

"Another person?" Elena said as she thought about it "I don't know, maybe".

"Well do you remember anyone who wasn't at Ever After when the curse happened?"

"I don't remember"

"Huh, I guess we'll just have to wait and see".

Down in Wonderland, Alice Liddell, the heroine of Wonderland and Alistair Wonderland's mother was enjoying her day exploring Wonderland. It's been 10 years since she last saw her beloved land ever since she went missing years ago, but thankfully she was finally found thanks to her son who freed her from being trapped inside a moonstone that was kept by the Jabberwock. Alice hadn't really changed much, she was still her curious and adventures self like she has always been. She even looked really young, it's as if she has never aged, well expect for her real age, she was now in her late thirties, but she still looked like she was in her twenties. Young and beautiful.

Alice was enjoying the beauty of Wonderland when she came across a dark castle upon a hill, she realized that it was the Jabberwock's castle, but the Jabberwock no longer roamed Wonderland, for it was slayed by Alistair Wonderland. Now Wonderland was free from the Jabberwock's terror and nonsense, but his castle remained in Wonderland. And now that the castle was unoccupied, Alice decided to explore it, being careful of course, knowing that curiosity often leads to trouble. She went up to the large door and slowly opened it, she peeked in and saw a dark hallway. She stepped in and puled out a flashlight and turned it on. Making her way down the hall, she shown the light around only seeing empty walls with cracks and cobwebs. She then entered the throne room, she walked in and saw pieces of the moonstone where Alistair had smashed it in order to free her. She was surprised that the mess was still there, yet she realized that the castle was unoccupied so no one had cleaned up the mess.

But when she took a step back, she stepped on something making a crack noise, she turned and saw that she had stepped on a mirror shard. She then noticed that there were mirror shards scattered around, and they all came from a mirror that was hanging on a wall. Alice went over to the mirror and saw what was left of it, just a shattered mirror with her shattered reflection. But as she looked closer, she spotted something dripping from a shard, she took a closer look and saw that it was a little piece of a purple blob. She then reached her finger to it and was about to touch it when she realized that it could be infected. But then a thought came to her, she had a feeling that something came out of this mirror, something, or someone.

"Oh no" she gasped as she realized who it could be "No no no".

Standing upon a hill and gazing over Wonderland with her long magenta colored hair draping down her back, she watched as the odd world went by with a sneaky look on her face.

"Ah Wonderland" she smirked "I remember this place, filled with madness and weirdness, it would of been better if I could've finished that curse".

She then looked down and watched as green pigs ran by.

"Now I need a way to get to Storybrooke" she said "But I think I'm going to explore this place a bit, might as well enjoy it before I go".

She then started to head down the hill, killing some flowers with her dark magic as she walked pass them. And all she could think of right now was going to Storybrooke, the town where she had cast everyone to in her curse. She was wondering what it was like, wondering how her daughter was doing. She knew she had to find a way to get Raven to follow her destiny, no matter what it takes.
