Ch.19 Theater

Walking down the hallway the next morning, Elena went up to her locker and opened it. On the side of her locker were mini posters of quotes and pictures of her and her friends. She then placed a novel into her locker and closed it and was surprised to see Taylor standing next to her.

"Hey Elena" she smiled.

"Oh, hey Taylor" Elena said.

"Soooo?" Mira grinned "How do you feel?"

"Fine I guess".

Mira gave a confused look.

"Just fine?" she said.

"Well, um, I'm kinda tired" Elena added.

"Uh, so uh, did you enjoy the tea yesterday?"

"Oh I didn't get a chance to drink it, I spilled it when I was walking home".

"Oh" Mira said disappointed.

"But thanks for the offer".

"No problem" Mira said, hiding her anger.

"Well I gotta get to class, see you later".

"You too".

As Elena went away, Mira felt that she wanted to punch the locker, her plan B had failed. Now she didn't know what to do.

As Elena was heading towards her class, she was stopped by Terrence.

"Hey Elena" he said.

"Oh hey Terrence" she smiled.

"Okay I wanted to ask you this after school, but I'm afraid that I'm going to forget, but uh, are you doing anything this Friday?"

"This Friday, I don't think so. Why you ask?" she asked with a little smiled.

"Well uh" he said nervously "I was wondering if you would uh, like to hang out with me".

"You mean like a date?"

"Uh, sure?"

Elena gave a small giggle.

"Terrence you don't have to be nervous if you're going to ask me on a date, of course I will".

"Oh" he said with a small smile "Well that's great".

"All right then, it's a date" she smiled.

"It's a date".

"I'll see you this Friday".

"Okay".

Elena then rubbed his brown hair in a messy way as she walked pass him, not knowing that Mira had been watching from behind the lockers.

"My Raven has a date with Dexter Charming?" she asked herself as Terrence fixed his hair with a small smile of his face "Talk about weird. She doesn't need love, she's a Queen, she could do better than that".

As he walked down the hall, Andy looked at his schedule as he walked around trying to find his next class, but he couldn't seem to find it and found himself lost. But as he looked ahead, he spotted a girl wearing a cheerleader uniform with her blonde hair tied into a ponytail.

"Uh, excuse me" he called as he walked up to her "Yeah hi, I'm new here and-".

"Oh right" she cut in with a smirk "You're the one who fell on Rachel during lunch, how hilarious".

"Yeah okay, but can you help me?"

"No" she said as she started to walk away.

"But you didn't even hear my question".

"Don't care".

As she walked away, Andy gave a sigh as he looked at the clock, class starts in a minutes!

"You need some help?" he turned around and saw Tara walking towards him.

"Tara" he said surprised "Oh thank goodness, yes I do need some help, I tried asking this cheerleader but she just ignored me".

"Yeah I saw" Tara said "That was Natalie Parker, the head cheerleader, she can be a real bitch".

"I can see why" he agreed.

"Well what class are you heading to?"

"I'm trying to find the Theater room".

"Oh that's near my class, follow me".

Andy followed Tara across the school and made it to the Theater room.

"Here we are" Tara said.

"Thanks" Andy smiled.

"No problem" she smiled as she headed to her class.

Andy walked into the Theater room and saw that everyone was sitting in the chairs that faced the front and were all looking at him.

"Can I help you?" the teacher asked.

"Uh I'm new here" Andy said as he handed him his schedule "And I'm in this class".

"Andy Walkner" the teacher read his name "Well nice to meet you Mr. Walkner, I'm Mr. Darwin, I welcome you to Theater, have a seat".

"Thank you" Andy smiled as he headed to an empty seat.

"Hey isn't that the guy who fell on Rachel at lunch yesterday?" a student asked his friend.

"I think it is" his friend chuckled.

Andy tried to ignore them as he sat in a chair. But when he turned to his left, he saw the girl that he fell on at lunch, the girl named Rachel. She turned to him as he quickly turned away. Mr. Darwin announced a play that they were going to perform, a love story. He then handed everyone a script as they read it. Andy saw that it was about a popular guy name John who falls in love with a shy new girl name Lillian, but it seems that she's hiding a secret and he wants to find out what it is. Andy felt that he would like to play the part of John, but he didn't know who would like to play the part of Lillian.

"Auditions are next class" Mr. Darwin announced "Be ready to perform a monologue and I will choose the best part for you".

As everyone started to search for a monologue, Andy couldn't stop looking at Rachel, he tried to look away but found he couldn't do it. He decided to talk to her, so he got up and sat in the chair next to her.

"Hey" he said.

"Oh, hey" Rachel said shyly.

"So uh, how you been?"

"Good I guess".

"Are you still embarrassed about yesterday?"

"A little, but I'm pretty sure I'll get over it, I think".

"Okay" he said as he started to think of something to say "So uh, you're Rachel right?"

"Yeah".

"Well um, I'm Andy".

"Nice to meet you".

"Now uh, do you have a monologue you're going to perform?"

"Not yet, but I'll find something".

"Well uh, if you need any help, I'm willing to help you".

"Thanks".

The two didn't really talk the whole class, but when it was over, as Rachel headed down the hall, Andy watched her go. But when he realized what he was doing, he snapped himself out of it.

"What are you doing?" he thought to himself "You're with Bridget, stop staring at Rachel".

So he kept his sight from Rachel as he went to his next class.
