you wish so hard to be the girl
that he pins against his bed.
his hands, his hips, his grinning face,
won't get out of your head.
you wish to god to be the girl
that he picks up his car.
you know he'll never look your way,
wishing won't get you far.
you wish so hard, it almost hurts
but what else can you do?
but maybe, when he kisses her
he wishes she was you.
