3.3 Dead girl...pt.2

CHARLIES POV

The lady at the hospital let us go in to see her, and there she was lying there. This was nothing like Ashton. He had a scratch on his head from the fall, but nothing like this. Ashton was in a coma. He wasn't wounded like crystal is. Crystal is still under the anesthesia. So she isn't in a coma. She has bruises all over her face, body, Cuts, scrapes, blood, black eye, even some of her hair is ripped out. I remember the last time I saw someone like this.
FLASHBACK
I was just 11 years old. Luke was 12. Crystal was 22 and still living at home. "Come on guys! Mom and dad are in danger we need to go!!" Crystal yells. We all got in the car and we were sitting in silence. We were all crying. We pulled into the a parking space in front if the hospital. "Can we see Mr. and Mrs Hemmings please?" crystal asked. Crystal had a few tears but she was more mad then sad. I don't know why she was like that, she just was. " ma'am ..." The lady started to say before crystal said "It's crystal, call me crystal! I hate being called ma'am!" She said angrily. "Ok, Crystal, I apologize, but Mr. Hemmings did not make it. The car hit on his side of the car. He did not make it pass the ambulance ride , we lost him there. Mrs. Hemmings is in room 457 if you would like to see her." the lady told us. We sat there trying to process what she just said but before I could. Luke lost it I have never seen him blow up like this before "BULLSHIT HE DID NOT MAKE IT. HE WOULD HAVE STILL BEEN HERE IF IT WASENT FOR YOUR LAZY ASS CREW. IT SUCKS. IF YOU PEOPLE HAD THE SENSE, YOU WOULD NOT HAVE LET HIM GO. SO, BULLSHIT, HES DEAD AND ITS ALL BECAUSE IF YOU PEOPLE. I NEVER WANT TO SEE THIS PLACE AGAIN." And with that he stormed out of the hospital. Crystal followed. But I just stood there. "I'm sorry for my brother..." I say to the desk. "It's ok hun, we know it's emotions and we hear stuff like that all the time. Go ahead to your moms room. I bet you want to see her" she said with a soft smile. The nurse was young, and sweet. She was right I should go see mom. Finally I arrived to the room. I opened the door. There mom was laying there helplessly, I walked over and put my hand in her shoulder. I say very gently and quietly "Mommy?" She opened her eyes and said "I love you so much, don't forget tha..." she never finished the word that. The machine went "Beeeeepppp" and she was gone. The nurses came rushing in and everything went black.
Flashback over

I was in tears I did not ever want to see what I witnessed when I was younger again. EVER. "Charlie, what are you thinking about?" Luke asked me. He obviously knew my thinking face."The last time we went through this. How I had to watch her die. She died trying to say I love you, Luke. I don't ever want to see that again and if I see the same thing happen with crystal I'm going to loose myself. I could not take it the first time. What made her think I can so it again." I was bawling, I was crying so hard I could not even speak properly or breath. I was definitely having a panic attack. Luke ran over and hugged me "Charlie, I'm not going to tell you it's going to get better because it's not. We have been through hell but you can't let yourself get lost. I know what you mean by ghat. Please don't! If crystal dies your all I've got left" He pulled me away and looks at me. I thought we were gonna cause a flood in this room because we were both crying so hard. "Luke I want to find out what happened" I told him I was so anxious. About an hour later the doctor came in. "Are you Charlie hemmings? And are you Luke hemmings?" Pointing at Luke. "Yes Dr" a say. "So the cause of her injuries is she was pushed off a building. I believe she was fighting someone at the bar she was at. The other person pushed her off. This is the report that the police and ambulance gav me. She is currently in critical condition. If I had to take a guess, I'm very sorry to say, but I don't think she is gonna make it through the night. Too much damage to bones and head..." He stated. could tell he was a gentle doctor. Very young and much pity on us. "Thank you dr, what do we need to do?" I ask. "I would say wait for the night. If my calculations are correct then tomorrow I would go talk to your insurance company on what to do next" she replied. "Ok sir, I appreciate it very much" I say back. I feel that I have cried everything I have out. I was in shock most definitely. "I hope a never find out about who has done this." I said to Luke firmly. "Me either. Make sure of it. They deserve to pay" Luke says. "Luke, I just want to go home and get some stuff. We need to stay if this is going to be it" I say. He nodded. I went over to her "We will be back love..." I kissed crystal on the forehead. We zoom home to get stuff.
At home
I opened the door and everyone bolted for me and Luke. Michael was with me and calum was with Luke and Ashton and Reagan were mixed up. Then Michael broke the silence. "Where did you two?" I was so petrified I could not even say anything I just started crying . Luke just told Michael that he will explain in the morning . I just wanted everyone to stay the night. I wanted to be near all my friends so I spoke up wiping the tears off my face "We will talk in the morning. Can you guys stay the night? Ash and Rae can have the spare bedroom. Calum can sleep on the pull out couch." I stared at the floor waiting for an answer. "Of course I will stay we just have to go get some cloths first"calum says smiling. "I'll be right back Charlie" Luke says. They walk out the door. I nodded "We will stay too, we just have to get the baby and stuff first" ash said. I smiled and said "Good. And thanks". Then they left too. It was just me and Michael. "Are you gonna tell me what happened or do I have to wait?" He asked. "Since your my fiancé, I will tell you, I got a call from the hospital. You know, like the one we got for our parents and it was about crystal. She got into a major fight and she was pushed off a building. She is in terrible condition. I'm sorry, I should have texted you or called you it's just that she is all me and Luke have left. We spend every single holiday and stuff together. I just can't loose her" I told him. I was all out if tears I was just sad. "Damn babe I'm so sorry, she won't end up like our parents. If the unspeakable does happen then you have me and cal and Luke and ash and Regan. You have all of us. Were a family. I always told myself after our parents family is not blood . Family is something you earn . Something you prove to someone. I will be here for you. You can cry. I understand what your going through" He told me smiling and hugging me tightly. "thank you Mikey. I'm just in shock. Me and Luke have to go back. Lets get everything ready for the guests"I told him. I walked to the linen closet. I handed Mikey twin comforters and one sheet for the pull out couch. Then I got out bunches of pillow. I told Michael I would make the beds and stuff. He insisted he did it, though. When he was done I pulled him into our bed room and we laid down. "Michael what would you do if I was pregnant ?" I was not pregnant but he was talking about family earlier. I was remembering the day are Regan and Ashton told us we should have a kid. It never hurts to be curious and ask ahead of time. "Uhh, I don't know. I would not be mad or anything just shocked because I never pictured myself as the fatherly type. I guess I would be happy" there was a quick pause " Why? Are you pregnant?!?" He asked with a shocked look on his face. "oh god no. But it never hurts to check. " I said giggling, kinda. "*Whew* I don't think I would be ready for that" he says smiling. "Do you think Ashton and Regan will have a family and get married? " I asked. I don't know why but I was thinking about families. "Probably! They seem like it"he said. We were cuddling now, staring at the ceiling. "You know, I hope Luke and cal start a family. And I know this sounds crazy but I would carry there baby for them. So it would have calum and Luke" I said expecting Michael to go off because I did not think about my words. "Sure, he is your bother. I would understand. At least I know it won't be happening again or anything. Only one because it would be weird doing it twice" He said with a nervous voice. I looked at him and smiled and gave him a hug. Next thing I knew the front door opened. "We're back!" Calum shouted. I just looked at Michael and laughed. We got up and calum and Luke were here. Regan and Ashton have not shown up yet. Their house is a little ways from out apartment. "Hey guys here is the pull out couch. Cal you rave our pantry and use the tv" I said smiling. "Ok. I'm hungry Charlie can we get something on the way?" Luke asked. I nodded. Knowing I have to go back to the hospital. I grabbed my stuff and hugged Michael goodbye. "Just help Regan and Ashton feel at home, I'll call you in a bit" I say to him. I feel myself wanting to cry some more. It's like I was drained. I literally could. Me and Luke were riding in the car and I was gonna tell him what I said with Michael. "Luke are you and calum considering starting a life together ?" . "I mean I hope so. I love cal he is so sweet. I wish we could have kids . Me and cal both want one. Unfortunately we cannot. We could always adopt, actually"he said focusing of the road. "I know this sound crazy but I can carry a baby for you. So it can have you in him or her and I guess if cal want a baby that badly we could always ya know. Just once. I told Michael about this before. He was fine with it because he knows I would do anything for you. Only if you want to. But I have to have my own kid first " I said. "You would do that for me ?" He says, kinda shocked. "yeah. Of course" I say looking at my hands. "Maybe in the future it would take sometime to get cal in the plan. But thanks. Do want anything ?" He asked. "Yeah, you know my order" I say.
