Concert Bb
When played in an ensemble each instrument resonates the smooth note.
Whether the note be the clarinets and trumpets "C".
The flute and trombones "Bb"
The saxes "G"
or the horns "F"
When all played together it resonates the beautiful tone.
I hear it calling to me in the band room, sometimes in the halls as a distant tone too.
I can feel the vibrations coming out of the low winds- it has a calming feeling.
The smell of dried spit from the brass instruments covers the floor, if only someone would clean it up.
The taste of my new reed has an old earthy texture, despite its age.
