standing placing the knife on her wrist..! His
eyes widened and he run to get her..!
"Nandini..! Leave it..! Kya kar rahi ho?"He
yelled holding her wrists and she wriggled

the time struggling in his hold..
"Shut up..!"He shouted again and tried to
snatch the knife from her..! But she was not
at all listening to him..! "Nandini..!"He
shouted again and finally snatched the knife
from her..! She was going insane with the
pain and tried to snatch it back..! Suddenly
Manik placed a tight slap on her face to
bring her in senses...! She stopped with a
jerk and Manik pushed her away..! She fell
in the corner of the room and Manik look at
her with tears in his eyes..!

and finally reached him..! He was

For few moments I got carried away..! Am

Nandini..!"He said sadly and got up..!

hugged him..!

But myny khudi sab spoil kar diya..!"He said
pouting all the time and nuzzled in her
hair..

said softly and he sighed..! "Manik..!"She
whispered as she wanted to make her first
wish to him! He broke the hug..
"Haan?"He said holding her hands and
made her stood up..!
"Kuch maangna hai..!"She said looking away
shyly and Manik walked out of the room
with her..!
"Mango na..!"He said lovingly and made her
sit in his car..! She look at him confused as
he started the car..!
"Where are we going..?"She asked hesitantly
and he shushed her..
"A place where will be just WE!"He said
concentrating on the road and she smiled..!
"Tum ny btya nahi what you want?"He again
asked and she shook her head..
"Ap ki destination par pohanch kar bataon
ge..!"She said smiling all the time fidgeting
with her Saree pallu...! While he mouthed an
'O'...!

she saw a beautiful cottage..! "Ya ap ka
hai?"She asked in a bit dazed captive tone
and he smiled..

sheepishly and Nandini hopped in his
arms..
"Oh My God Manik..! Thank you so much..! I

beautiful..!"She shouted happily and he
patted her head..

keys and open it..!"Manik said lovingly and
gave her the keys..! She run to open the
doors and started roaming in the whole
cottage..! It was exceptionally beautiful with
every necessary thing in it..!

hai..! You know I always wanted a house
like this..!"She was so happy and Manik was
following her all the time admiring her
excitement..! Finally and lastly they reached
the BEDROOM..! Without knowing that it
was bedroom Nandini excitedly entered in it
and Manik too followed her. As soon as she
noticed the arrangement around she
stopped! While Manik locked the door and
stood leaning with it..!
The bed was decorated! Enough for Nandini
to understood what Manik wanted! Manik's
hand slowly travelled to switch off the lights
only the dim lights were left..!

night..!"She said as he dragged her in a side
hug..
"Your welcome..!"He said smiling at her and
she look at his face keenly..
"Kya hua? You are worried?"She asked
cupping his one cheek and he shook his
head..
"I again failed as a brother..!"He spoke sadly
and Nandini was worried for him..! She
came in front of him and held his hand near
her chest.
"Manik..! I think it's high time you should
share your pain with me..! Trust me you will
feel relieved..! That voice you heard? What
your Dad said? Mukti sab..! I need to know
about everything...!"She pleaded and he
sighed..!
"I was 13 years old when my mother ran
away..!"He started his story and Nandini
was already in tears...
