Secret Of Darkness

"I was 13 years old when my mother ran
away..!"He started his story and Nandini
was already in tears...! "It was a cold stormy
night! I still remember very clearly! I was
studying in my room when I heard Mom
and Dad shouting! I look at my sisters they
both were sleeping peacefully..! I quietly got
up and walked towards Mom and Dad's
room..! I heard Mom accusing Dad he never
loved her truly! In short she wanted to leave
my Dad..! Because her first lover was
back..!"Manik continued and Nandini felt
her breath raging..! She immediately
wrapped her arms around Manik's waist
and placed her head on his chest her way to
tell him that she was with him..!
"Then?"After few moments she asked him to
continue further..
"Mom..! She humiliated Dad like anything..!
Dad was totally shattered..! And she walked
away..! Leaving us siblings and Dad alone!
I wanted to stop her Nandini..! But
she--!"Manik was controlling it with great
difficulty..!
"Manik..! Let it all out..! We will cry together
and only today..! Aj kay baad you won't
cry..!"Nandini spoke in his chest and he
closed his eyes.
"She ran away..!"Manik spoke with a broken
heart and Nandini flinched. "That night I
went to my father and he told me never to
trust a woman! He asked me not to marry.
Not to fell in love! And then he committed
suicide..! He died the same night and my
little sister Mukti! She was suffering from
cancer  at that time I had nothing with me to
get her medicines. We lost our house. Mukti
left us quietly without any argument. With a
smile on her face she closed her eyes. Me
and Alya were left alone for each other only.
Then I decided that I won't let any sorrow
come in Alya's life I got her everything
either by hook or by crook..!" Manik was
sobbing like anything he almost fell on his
knees and Nandini engulfed him in a hug.
The wounds of 17 years ago
get refreshed and It was hurting him like
anything.
"Manik..! Shh..! Everything is ok now! I am
with you! We are together! And Alya! She
will be ok! I know Aiyappa must have
decided something good for her!"Nandini
consoled him and he hugged her more
tightly. With loads of difficulty Nandini
calmed him down and finally he let it all
out. Manik had a vulnerable past which kept
haunting till now. But now his solace was
with him. She was with him..! She will be
doing anything for him! Because now his
smile was very precious for her.

"Nandini..!"Manik spoke nuzzling in her
neck from back. She was standing in the
kitchen wearing nothing but Manik's shirt
and was preparing Manik's coffee..
"Manik..!"She moaned as he gave her
another love bite revealing her shoulder to
him..
"You know!"He whispered again and turned
her roughly towards him.
"Manik..! Coffee..!"She tried to protest when
his hands traveled under her shirt.
"Shh..! Ask me what?"He was adamant on
his place as
he fondled her curves driving her to the
edge of excitement.
"What Manik?"She whisper-moaned to him,
closing her eyes and clutching his hair
tightly..
"I love you..!"Manik spoke in her ear
nibbling her earlobe mercilessly in his teeth.
Wow a new piece of information. This time
she giggled..
"That I know already Mr.Malhotra..!"She
said tugging his hair and he look at her with
dazed eyes. Before she could speak her lips
were sealed with his. He kissed her like a
crazy man making her breathless
effortlessly. The coffee left in middle and
Manik picked her up to walk towards the
bedroom to finish what he had started..

"Alya aur Dhruv k liye kya socha hai
ap ny?"Nandini asked hesitantly and gave
him a cup of coffee after few hours..
"Sochna kya hai? I will ask Alya to file a
divorce against Dhruv..! Waisy bhi they
don't have babies so it won't be a big
issue!"Manik said nodding his head he was
hell serious! With that he pulled in her in his
lap and now her back was rested on his
chest. The alone time was so peaceful.
"Am sorry Manik..!"Nandini spoke after a
long pause while Manik almost choked
sipping his coffee.
"Sorry? Why sorry?"He freaked out and
placed the cup aside making her face him.
Her head was lowered.
"Because of me! Dhruv and Alya..!"She was
unable to complete her sentence. She was
really feeling very guilty for Alya. Because of
her Dhruv did all that. Alya deserved to be
happy.
"Hey! Pagal! It's obviously not your fault..!
It's all because of Dhruv..! He don't know
how to deal with his relations! He is an
a**!"Manik tried to cheer her up and she
hide her face in his neck..
"You are not angry with me na?"She asked
lowly tracing her finger on his chest..
"Aray baba! Why would I be angry at you
hmm? You are my love! My Everything! You
owe me Nandini! Tum nahi hoti tou me ab
bhi andhairoon me bhatakta phir raha
hota!"Manik said caressing her hair and she
nuzzled in his neck..
"I love you so much Manik..!"She whispered
and he pecked her forehead an answer for
her that he loves her more..

Manik woke up on his side and extended his
hand to get Nandini but got up with a jerk as
she wasn't there.
"Nandu?"He called her but no response. It
was their fifth day here and Manik hadn't
spare Nandini for a single night not even
in daytime. He checked the bathroom, all
rooms, balcony and Kitchen too but she was
nowhere. He became a little worried and
walked out of the house there was beach all
along. Suddenly he saw her sight
and sighed in relief. She was walking here
and there, maybe collecting something.
Running his fingers in his hair he walked
towards her.
"Baby?"He called her politely and she turned
to him with a huge smile on her face. She
had so many of wild beach flowers in her
hands.
"Morning Manik..!"She exclaimed and
pecked her lips immediately. She was about
to walk away when he held her from her
waist and she gave him a confused pout.
"Morning princess! Now would you like to
tell me that why did you leave the bed so
early?"He asked tucking her hair behind her
ear and she nodded excitedly.
"I came to get these flowers for you see!
I have got so many!"She showed him the
flowers and he smiled..
"That I can see! But you should be taking
rest na! Aren't you tired?"He scolded her
lightly and she shook her head.
"No! I am not tired! Let me go I want more
flowers!"She said wriggling in his grip.
"No! Abhi pehly rest!"He said
and forcefully picked her up in bridal style..
"No! Leave me! Manik flowers..!"She shouted
and tried to get free in this fight the flowers
she had collected fell on the sand. She made
a super angry pout and turned her face. "I
hate you!"She shouted angrily and he
sighed.
"Kbhi tou meri baat maan liya karo?"He said
in a serious tone and placed her on the bed
but she hide her face in the pillow pulling
the covers over her. A clear indication for
Manik that she was very angry. "Nandu!"He
tried to talk to her and sat beside her..
"Kattii!"She shouted under the covers and he
sighed.
"Aray but it's not that big issue! Come on!
I will get you more flowers once we will go
home! Dosti kar lo na!"He was pleading
now..
"No no no! It is a big issue! And I don't want
your flowers!"She was so much angry.
Manik bit his lip and got up. There was an
only way now. Another talent which was
Nandini unaware off Manik was that he was
an awesome singer. He went to the other to
pick up his guitar and came back there was
no change in Nandini's position.
"So are you sure kay dosti nahi karna?"He
asked naughtily.
"Yesh!"She exclaimed and shifted more
under the covers. Manik nodded and strum
his guitar. With that he walked towards the
window..
