What?

"The...one you lived with?" I say stupidly.

"Yeah. Why?"

"No, nothing." I had two girlfriends. They both cheated on me, I think they found me boring and stupid because I thought too much.

So she lied to me. She didn't leave him for someone else, but cheated on him. I really feel the need to slap her across the face, but I keep myself in check. Why do I care anyway? And they're just friends now.

"Are you doing something today?" Finally using the right grammar.

"Do I look like I'm up to something?" I say as I point to myself. I need get ready though, tomorrow I'm leaving Brisbane.

She just shrugs. "You know what? How about you come with me to the mall? To buy, you know...fresher clothes." She says as she eyes me. Unlike me, she's very revealing. She's wearing a teal bralet, denim shorts and black kneeboots.

"Um, okay." I answer.

"Hop in!" She stands up and walks towards her expensive car, as I follow.

Very short chapter, this was just a filler.
