Chapter 4: joy in the fog

Tears brimmed at the edges of Aphmau's eyes. She reached out and the tips of her finger pressed against the child which rested in her mother's arms. Slowly everyone's voices started drifting away. Aphmau started drifting out of consciousness. "Aphmau! Wake up.APHMAU!"
"Where am I?"
Aphmau stood in the fog searching for a way out. Suddenly she came across a woman with a purple hood and a white dress.
"Aphmau, it took you a while to get here." The woman spoke.
"How do you know my name?" Shuttered Aphmau.
"Heh, oh sweetie don't you recognize your own mother." The woman pulled down her hood. Just like Aphmau, her had brown eyes and dark black hair. Tears ran down Aphmau's cheeks, having no urge to hold back she ran to Irene. Tears of joy spuring out of her eyes.
"Where have you been?! Where have you been my whole life?!" Aphmau asked.
"I wish I have time to explain Aphmau, I really do."Her mother ansewered. And with that Irene handed Aphmau a book amd disapered.
