"There was once a girl called Scarlet
Who might have been a bit of a hobbit
But she did like food
And wasn't fond of sleeping in prison
So please don't be mad.
Her skeleton will lie in the Chamber forever."

Scarlet stepped back to admire her work. She had chosen dark purple this time, a pretty spray paint on the black wall.

"Who knows where I'll be tonight..." She murmured, a familiar crease forming on her forehead as she shouldered a hand-made bag and sauntered out into the world, leaving the old abandoned construction site and entering the part of town that was full of FOR SALE! signs nobody paid attention to anymore.

Few people entered this part of town, which was never a good thing if you wanted to hide from a detective. This was precisely why she moved around, leaving apologies and thank-you notes in the places she visited - an old hotel, a sewer, new houses, construction sites. The message was always different, but the ending was always the same... "Her skeleton will lie in the Chamber forever." It had been on a movie billboard she had seen, and she had adopted the quote soon after. A few hours of walking and sight seeing later, she rode a bus down to the space museum and mingled with the crowds until it closed. Then she found a comfortable room inside one of the show aircrafts, pounded a few snacks out of a vending machine, and wondered how long she would be in this facility and what kind of a message she'd leave.
