You reach Phoenix Drop in no time, probably because you were stomping around angrily because of Zane. "Y/N! YOUR OK! DONT DO THAT TO ME EVER AGAIN! Y/N WHAT HAPPENED!? Y/N'S BACK!" As you neared the gates you were suddenly surrounded by faces full of relief, worry, anger, and happiness. "Hahaha" you laughed as you were bombarded with questions. "I'm sorry I worried you guys it's just I have some beef with the High Ass of O'khasis (idk how to spell it 'ite)." Y/N! YOUR SAFE! THANK IRENE AND THE LUNER GODDESS!" A familiar voice easily drowned out the rest. You held out your arms as a girl with brown hair and blonde streaks flung herself at you. "Jess I'm so sorry I ran off." "It's fine," she sobs with relief ,"just promise me. Promise me that you won't do that again." "Look I'm not making any promises I can't keep." "Heh. Idiot. Just tell me next time OK?" "You got your self a deal my good friend." As you talked and smiled with the other residence of Phoenix Drop you barely noticed a figure slip silently into the sea of people. "So what got you so riled up when you saw Zane?" With that question the night it's self seemed to silence and darken. "O-oh I-I didn't mean to offend you. I just-" "wanted to know." You finished off their sentence. "Don't worry. I know. If you really want to know... Well here's the truth. Zane destroyed my village, ordered my family to be slain and led an army of shadow knights right through the portal. He's wronged me after I spared his life. For that I may never forgive him." Shock spread throughout the crowd as you told your story. "And after we stopped at the clearing Jessica used forest herbs to attempt to heal my wounds. When that clearly wasn't working Laurance, Garroth, Travis, Dante and Aaron helped me here. So that's my story." Everyone was silent after listening. "Oh my Irene. I didn't know." Aphmau gasped as she covered her mouth in disbelief. "Well I wasn't ready to tell." You felt someone tug your pant leg. "Um miss y/n. Did dat really happen?" A child's voice called. When you looked down you saw little Levin looking back up at you with big blue eyes. "Yes Levin. That happened to me." You felt the child's arms wrap around your leg. "That's scary. W-what if," Levin's eyes started to shine with tears. "What if something like that happens to mommy and big brother? W-what i-if-" Levin started tearing up even more. "Levin. Something like what I went through will never happen to you or your friends." You smiled reassuringly. "*sniff* really?" His eyes growing bigger by the second. "I promise." "Are you sure that you can keep that promise?" Zane's voice floated up out of the crowd. You smirk confidently. "Zane. I swear on my life that this village will be under my protection and if the very thought of destruction of this village crosses your mind. So help me, I will rip your entrails from your body and use them to tie you to a mountain!" He flinched and you smiled in satisfaction that you were able to make him understand how protective you were going to be about your new home and family. "Y-ya!" A little girl fought her way through the crowd and to your side. Aww thanks for your support little Alexis. "If Apple needs help potecting da town. I fight!" A little boy fought his way to yours and Alexis's side. "This is so cute. If this keeps up I'll be leading an army of kids. Soon the adults started looking at each other and shouting. " IF WE MUST FIGHT, I'LL PROTECT THIS TOWN WITH MY LIFE." Aphmau looks at you with surprise and approval shining in her brilliant amber eyes. Zane looked at the inhabitants of Phoenix Drop with surprise. "What. Are you the new lord of Phoenix Drop?" "No. I wish for no authority, I just wish for my new home to be protected against people like you." He opens his mouth like he wants to say something but quickly closes it as if he thought better of it. He nods to you and turns to Aphmau. He bows and says "Lord Aphmau of Phoenix Drop and noble leader of the Phoenix Alliance, I humbly ask for a temporary home in your village for I wish to get away from O'khasis for awhile." Aphmau looks thoughtful and after what seems to be an eternity she answers "High Priest Zane and prince of O'kasis. I can not ensure your safety inside of my walls but if you really want to, I grant you time in Phoenix Drop, so long as you don't do anything harmful to the village." You stare at Aphmau in shock. "A-aphmau. Are you absolutely sure about this? He could betray us. I've put my trust in him before and he broke that trust." "I know and I'm sorry if my actions offend you but he is a man of power. I'm afraid that if I said no he would order an attack of Phoenix Drop and we don't have the resources for a war." She answers back apologetically. "*sigh* I understand your thinking but just know, alot of people would have his head for what he's done in the past and they may disagree with you. Ok?" She nods in understanding and says to Zane. "Well I guess. Zane, welcome to Phoenix Drop, again."
