becAUSE:
1. hawaiian names have actual meanings that are important to families and the person with that name. these names can be from ancestors or major past events that are special to people. not all hawaiian names are long, anyway.

+ the "n" jokes made me cringe

2. please do not act like the majority of native hawaiians were slaves. there were hawaiian slaves, but only the lowest class in society (kauwa) were kept as slaves in hawaii by the higher classes (or killed for sacrifice).

3. "race-traitor" doesn't make any sense so i'm going to pretend that i didn't see that lmao

4. we are not all fat, lazy, and not all of us smoke pot. the land was alright before foreigners came. but i don't get why this person thanked us for making our island pretty, then said that foreigners fixed our "shitty" islands i'M ???2???2? but she actually decided to bring Samoa into this. Samoa was and still is a beautiful place, please stfu

5. that's just plain rude, i have nothing else to say.

6. we're all in this together (hsm), i'm american because im from hawai'i, aren't i? you can go anywhere around the state and point at any local and say that they're American, because they are.
