Scarlett's Pov
Daddy has brought the little back today. He is acting different to me.
He pays more attention to her than to me. I'm not even going to say her name because I don't like her.
She has all of my daddy's attention and I don't like that.
"Daddy can you pick me up?" I ask him.
"Sorry baby girl but I can't. Marie here is sleeping and I don't want to wake her." He says looking down at her and smiling.
I turn from him and go upstairs.
I sit play with my teddy bear named Dj.
Don't know what it stands for but I like it.
Why does daddy want another little anyway.
He should only have me.
Daddy is being a big meanie right now.
I hear him come up the steps a few minutes later.
He comes and stops at the door.
"Scarlett do you have anything to say to me?" He says looking smug.
I look at daddy then down at my hands.
"Daddy I don't want you to have another little. I thought you only loved me," I whisper through tears.
He comes and picks me up and puts me on his lap. He moves my hair out of my face and wipes away my tears.
"Scarlett no one could ever replace. Your the only one I love. I just thought that another one would be good for us,"he says.
I look down at my hands.
I guess I had nothing to worry about.
And that's when I saw Marie standing at the door.
