Heartless

Chapter VII

There were other swat men waiting outside the room. Of course Alucard slaughtered them like they were cattle. I stayed with Seras who was freaking out a bit. I shook my head. "So many wasted souls." I said quietly. I heard Alucard go down in the Elevator. "Come Seras we shall wait on the roof." She stood and followed me out I looked at all the blood and bodies.

But ignored them we went to the stairs and made our way to the roof. As I looked below Seras setted up her gun. I saw men fly out and get impaled on the poles. I smirked. "Vladmir never ceases to amaze me."

I watched as he spoke to a man he held up a single card. "Im here to take you unlife Mr Alucard." He geinned as he opened his jacket and cards circled around him.

He shot the cards at Alucard. And it left a hole in the stairs and a scratch on Alucard's face. "You guys never give up I will just have to kill you again." He cackled.

Then they engaged in a fight him shooting cards at Alucard and him dodging out the road which lead to the witnesses to be killed by the mans cards.

Alucard began to shoot back at him. He got him in the neck but with a purple mist he turned into cards and appeared behind Alucard.

"Does this man also do magic?" I questioned. "Im not sure." Seras walked over and watched as Alucard was thrown the the ground and circled by the cards. "Now I got you." The card man said. After an explosion his eyes widened for that Alucard had disapeared.

Alucard was on his hands and knees. "I can't stop bleeding those cards of his must be very special." Alucard said. I walked over to him. "I need time to heal." He said. "Ok done." I walked in front of Alucard as the man walked onto the building.

He smiled at the sight of me he brought out a card and turned it so i could see the suit. It was the Queen of hearts. "The Queen of Hearts how beautiful you are. It is an honor to meet you." I laughed. "I don't take compliments so please don't give them." He smirked. "But why wouldn't I, a women like you would be a perfect match for a man like me." He said stepping closer.

"What are you implying that I will just be a card that you control? Im sorry but I don't belong to anybody if i ever did it would be for one man and right now im buying him time." I smirked. He looked behind me seeing Alucard begin to reform.

"Dammit." He growled and he circled in cards. "Zeus!" I called.

"Almighty Zeus huh see if it is any match for my cards." He began to shoot cards at me. I used the sword to diflect them but it was causing impact on my stance.

I glanced back. "You're taking and awfully long time to heal Alucard." I said. I turned back but to him changing the direction i went to dodge them but they disapeared that was when I realised I was tricked I turned in time to block most of cards off but some managed to get by and cut my arm and my face leaving blood seeping from the wounds. To him it looked like I glitched with a black mist but regained stance.

Alucard was fully healed and I falled back to Seras. She had her gun ready. Alucard laughed. "The world would be so boring if i didn't have idiots like you to immuse me." He grinned I watched as they spoke to eachother. His cards spun around again and he ahot then at Alucard we saw eyes appear over his body. And after a puff of smoke he dispeared.

"Seras begin to shoot him just before the smoke settles." I whispered. "Yes." When it was that time seras began to shoot her canon at the dandy man it distracted him enough so Alucard would catch him off guard.

He watching in horror as he saw a glimspe of Alucard hell hound. Then it vanished. He sensed Alucard movement behind him so he attempted to throw a card but his arm was seized and broken by Alucard.

Alucard changed into a form I never seen. For some reason i was really attracted to it. "Penelope why is there blood coming out of you nose are you fine?" I flinched and wiped the blood away. "It ok I just got excited about the fight." I lied to her. "Ok." She smiled. We both watched Alucards hand and Dandy mans card come at eachother. His hand slice right through the card and up his arm.

After he grabbed his head. "I will have to interigate you so you will have to tell me everything you know...or your blood will." He dug his teeth into his neck.

While he was drinking a blue flame appeared the man decintergrated but Alucard stood there laughing and clapping his hands. Pip arrived in a helicopter. "Want a lift?" He grinned. Seras smiled and ran over to it.

I sighrd and walked over to as blood still continued to pour down my arm. "Your arm is hurt Penelope." Pip said. "I'm human i don't heal that fast like vampire do and it is only a scratch i will be fine." I said. Alucard finally aboarded the Helicopter. "There is a small village out of town we can go there where it is peaceful."

Later:

Seras was out getting food with Pip. Alucard was on the phone to Integra and I decided to have a shower. I came out with the towel wrapped around my body but before i entered the lounge room I stopped before the door and listened.

"Integra. Did you enjoy declaring war did you feel the burning fires of hell through you body when you made the declaration?" I could hear her yelling through the phone. "Don't ever speak to me lile that you monster!" She yelled before the call was ended.

I opened the door and walked out before transforming into my normal outfit. Alucard saw the cuts on my arm. "You really are a fragile being aren't you." He stated. "They are only scratches Alucard it's not like I'm going to die." I said.

"But you could there is a war that is going to erupt soon it is possibility that you could be killed you should allow me to turn you." He said in his soothing voice. "No im not becoming a vampire I can still die as a vampire and death shouldn't be feared by one. If is meant to come your way you must allow it." I said. "I don't despise of that but it's you I'm worried about."
I walked over to him and kissed him. I pulled away and looked into his eyes. "It is fine trust me." I kissed him again. Then I heard footsteps and pulled away again. I saw Seras and Pip grinning at me.
