"My parents won't be home for a while"

"My grandfather got sick and he's in the hospital in canada"

"yeah and my parents didn't want me to stay home so they called your mom and said that you can stay here until they come back"
"fantastic" she said sarcastically and playfully rolled her eyes
I laughed "shush, plus we can take care of Jaxon, it'll be good practice for when our baby comes"
