One night. One call. One dead.
Lilly gets a call from Delcan telling her to save him. The only problem is Delcan has been dead for two weeks now.

The gate opens with a cringing creak. A wind blows carrying the dried leaves with it that very soon stick to my hair. I leave Ben's hand to shield myself from the wind.
An ominous silence follows. Lingering thoughts echo within itself. I hear Ben's steady breathing and a hoot of an unseen owl.
My eyes search across the cemetery as far as Ben's mobile torch could shed light on. Broken tomb stones with faded memories of once loved ones are all I see. No Delcan.
"Shit." Ben curses when his mobile reminds him of low battery.
"I don't see him." I say.
Ben walks ahead, with each step resonating louder. Each step with purpose and each step with something hidden.
"Delcan!" Ben shouts.
But why am I not shouting?
Ben then remains quiet.
Delcan must be here right?
I turn in circles, with the night sky caressing me. Where are you Delcan?
Yet I remain quiet.
The cloud hides the moon the very minute Ben's phone shuts off.
Pitch dark falls on us. Delcan would't like it.
"Lilly, stay where you are. I'm coming." I hear Ben's voice.
"I think, I have a torch app in my mobile." I say him.
"Okay, turn it on."
I swipe across the screen of my mobile, and -
"ARGH!"
A shout.
"BEN!" I scream.
A hushed noise. And then silence.
"BEN!" I scream again walking around frantically.
"Ben! What happened? Where are you?" I cry searching for him in the darkness.
I don't know what I am scared of more.
The fear of being in dark?
The fear of something happening to Ben?
The fear of something happening to me?
Or the fear for Delcan?
I nervously search the mobile app not focusing on my steps.I stagger and trip and fall with a humph.
"Ouch." I hiss when my elbow hits the ground. My mobile flies across.
Getting up with difficulty, I crawl towards my mobile.
My hands might have touched the wrong buttons, because the screen displayed my message chats.
I pick my mobile and carefully stand up.
Footsteps.
I hear soft foot steps behind me.
My eyes didn't dare dart anywhere except focus on the screen.
And then I was scared the most. A new fear overpowered all the other.
The message that is displayed. The one Delcan had sent me this night.
Lil did u gt my cal?? Pl cm quick. im barly holding. smeone is chsing me. please come quick.

The messages were not from Delcan.

" It's Delcan, not Declan. "
They are not from Delcan. They are from-
"Why did you bring Ben with you?" An angry voice.
Behind me.
An angry female voice.
An angry voice that belonged to -
Tara.

Didn't expect that.
The book will be coming to an end in five chapters I guess. And that's where the tension is going to build up max!
