Her long dainty fingers
Intertwined with his
Her vibrant smile
Gave him such bliss

The fields they lay on
Were green and free
And beside the pond
Was a blossom tree

Through the winter,
Snow and cold
The blossom tree stood
Strong and bold

The birds they perched
On a branch
And sang love's song
The flowers, blanch

The blossoms flowered
And so did she
And so he wished
she was his melody
