Her long dainty fingers
Intertwined with his
Her vibrant smile
Gave him such blissThe fields they lay on
Were green and free
And beside the pond
Was a blossom treeThrough the winter,
Snow and cold
The blossom tree stood
Strong and boldThe birds they perched
On a branch
And sang love's song
The flowers, blanchThe blossoms flowered
And so did she
And so he wished
she was his melody
