Chapter.10

The doctor started calling the time and pulling the sheet over her when she sat straight up gasping for air.

--Eva’s POV--

I was surrounded by dark and I couldn’t seem to find the light switch or a wall. I kept walking around for what felt like hours but I couldn’t be sure, then I felt like something shocked me which made me scream then it did it again. What the hell is happening to me and where the hell am I. I started to see a bright light and usually they say don’t go towards the light but I was tired of the dark and it felt like it was pulling me towards it. Next thing I know im sitting straight up in a bed gasping for air that just wouldn’t come. Someone put a mask on me and I was able to breath again but I could hear people crying and someone cussing. I looked around me and I was in a hospital which made my breathing pick up more because I hate hospitals because everybody I know that’s been treated in a hospital and was laying in a bed like this never came out. The doctor and nurses left leaving me to myself so I decided to try and sleep because my eyes felt so heavy. I felt two people sit next to me but I was to tired to look at them. Someone grabbed my hand and I knew it was shawn by the scar on his palm then someone else grabbed my hand which pissed me off

“luke, if you value your life you’ll stop touching me” he immediately let my hand go and I squeezed shawns hand

“im so sorry shawn” he sighed and laid his head on my stomach as I played with his hair

“why would you do it again eva? I thought we had a deal that if you felt like it you would talk to me. Remember you promised not to do it again?” I started crying as I was wiping the tears off his face

“im sorry shawn it just got way to hard to handle. First zelta made me murder fin and then luke” I growled the last part which had shawn glaring at luke

“what about luke? What did you do to eva?” luke growled back

“watch yourself and I didn’t do shit to her” I scoffed at him

“oh no? you weren’t the one with your tongue down megs throat?” bella had just walked in the room and she gasped

 “you were the one that rejected her. How could you reject her then even think about touching that whore?” luke growled at her

“meg is not a whore” I sat up straight and started clapping and laughing while they all gave me a quizzical look

“what a surprise luke defending a whore who’s not his mate. You know what I cant handle this anymore nor do I want to, leave luke and don’t come back” he looked torn but got up and stormed out as bella took the seat that luke was sitting on

“how do you feel?” I looked at her

“like more that half of my blood was drained from my body” we all started laughing then we were joined by ricky, billy, troy, jake, amos, sam, elder pam, elder tom, and elder Derek. We were all talking when I remembered we were missing one

“wait where is amy?” troy looked up from the book he was reading

“we left her at the pack house” I looked at him

“with who?” elder pam sat next to me

 “don’t worry about her, child we left her with that meg chick” I stopped breathing and before they could stop me I was up and getting dressed

“why the hell would you guys let amy be alone with her.” I didn’t wait to hear their reply as I ran out of the hospital and started running back to the house. When I got to the house I heard meg cussing and amy crying so I opened the door making it bang on the wall which had meg jumping backwards away from amy. I ran over to amy and picked her up taking her to the bathroom to clean up her bloody nose and split lip
