The Main Creatures in this story are known as Hybrids.
Hybrids : being a mix of different Creatures.
What creatures?
Well monsters of course.
Basic Hybrid: A Monster crossed Between a werewolf, vampire and zombie
In Order to survive they must drink blood, Eat hearts and Brain Matter
They Usually turn around the age of 13 if it runs genetically in the family and if that person hears a voice. Though it is rare to hear the voice and it is a 1/1000 chance of becoming a Hybrid even with genetics.
The only other way to become one is if another Hybrid shares his organs or blood with you.
The third and final way is if you have sex with a Hybrid.
There are many other creatures in this book besides the Hybrid BTW
Such as werewolf , vamps, Zombies, ect
FYI: the zombies follow the same rules as the tv show IZOMBIE
