Harry was in the middle of beating a monster on his gameboy, once he heard his phone ding. Pausing the game, he reached over to his bedside table, and grabbed the phone. Unlike all of the other kids, Harry didn't have a cool iPhone or Samsung. Instead, he was handed down Gemma's old phone, which you could only call and text with. And if you wanted to send a text, then you needed to press that letter key at least five times, before it would actually send. Imagine the daily struggle he had to go through, whenever he accidently pressed the wrong letter key.
The only reason he'd even gotten a phone, was because his junior high was a bit farther than his old school. This forced him to ride the bus back and forth, along with walking home from his bus stop, which forced his mother into a frenzy. He'd begged and begged her for a phone months before and then he'd finally been given that trash on his thirteenth birthday. Still, he wasn't the one to complain and simply accepted the gift with a toothy smile and a thank you.
Picking up the phone, he smiled a bit once reading the name, 'louuuuuu <3.' Oh yeah, he didn't have any emojis either. Great, huh?
He clicked on the message and almost instantly, his smile vanished. Instead, he was filled with worry and tension. It read, 'come over pls i need u.' He needed him? Yeah, they both obviously knew that already, the feelings were mutual, but what had happened? Was Louis hurt? Did someone say something to him? Oh, the different scenarios played through his mind, each causing his heart to beat even harder against his chest.
He quickly sent an, 'on my way,' before letting the device slip from his fingers and drop on his bed. He jumped off of it, before heading towards his door. Once he was halfway in the hallway, he paused. Glancing down at himself, he realized that he was simply dressed in a pair of boxers and a loose tee shirt, which had a large chocolate stain in the middle of it. He sighed, knowing he couldn't possibly go out like this, and stepped backwards into his room.
