#2 too much attention

The school bell rang and quickly you grabbed all your stuff and made it out of the class room and into the cafeteria. But as soon as you entered the room you already regretted your decision. 

It felt like every single head turned to you. You kept your head down as you walked over to a free table where you sat down and pulled out a book you had to read for English class. But you couldn't focus on the book at all. 

It's only been one day since you and Shawn made your relationship official. He had an interview with Ellen and Andrew thought that was the perfect way to let everyone know about the two of you. 

Shawn was thrilled about the idea and you just couldn't say no when he told you how excited he was about finally letting everyone know about you. You even got a little excited yourself. Just the idea of being able to go to the cinema with Shawn or out for a walk without having to hide behind sunglasses or hats seemed worth it.

But now everything that was making you scared of going official had happened.
"Hey Y/N!" Finally some normal people, you thought, as two of your best friends slid into the seats next to you. "How're you? And how's Shawn? I saw the interview yesterday." 

You sighed, even they couldn't shut up about it. So you just put your book back while answering before you grabbed your bag and said goodbye to them. You walked out of the cafeteria, again feeling all eyes on you, and made your way out of school and to your car to drive over to Shawns house. It took him a while until he finally opened the door. He was probably sleeping because he flew back right after the interview and got home in the early morning hours. 

First he was surprised to see you standing at his front door but as he caught sight of your exhausted expression he immediately pulled you into a hug. "What are you doing here so early? What's wrong?" he asked as you entered the house after just standing there and hugging for a couple of minutes. "I skipped my last class. I just couldn't stand all the attention any longer."

He pulled you onto his lap and laid back down on the couch with you, running his fingers over your arms. "I'm so sorry" he whispered into your ear. "But it's gonna get better, I promise you. In a few weeks they'll all be used to us being a couple." You turned around so you were laying on top of him and rested your head on his chest. 

"Thank you" you breathed out and he smiled a little and pressed a kiss onto your forehead.

 "Anything for you, princess. I love you." 

"I love you too."
