You try your best to keep up with Seung Ri’s pace as he walks ahead of you towards the park. Even though your boyfriend of a year and a half warned you not to wear the new heels you bought, you still went against his warning. As much as you appreciated his concern, you just had to wear your new shoes. It matched your outfit too perfectly for you to pass it up.
Seung Ri looks back at you, biting his lip so that he can contain his laughter. He stops walking and waits for you to reach him. As much as he was a sweet and caring boyfriend, he couldn’t help but watch you suffer as you try to walk. It’s not that you couldn’t walk in heels; it has come as a second nature to you. But since these were still new, you have yet to break into them like your other ones. He knew you were suffering, he could see it as you clutch the handle of your bag, walking slowly in hopes it would help your throbbing feet.
Looking good comes with a price.
“Come on babe, just admit it, your feet are hurting, right?” He questions you once again for the tenth time.
After your date, Seung Ri noticed that you were walking slowly behind him. At first he thought it was because he was discovered, but that was impossible. It was past midnight now and the restaurant was practically deserted. But then he noticed that it was cause of your newly bought pair of heels. He questioned you if you were alright and you nodded your head, giving him an assuring smile. It fed his curiosity for the moment until you got to the car and took off your heels. He offered to take you home, but you insisted that you wanted to spend time with him as much as possible since you didn’t have work the following day.
You shake your head in defiance, not wanting Seung Ri to send you home. “No, oppa, I’m fine, I’m just taking in the surroundings.” You reply making Seung Ri release the laughter he has been holding in. “YAH! Why are you laughing?”
Seung Ri catches his breath and shakes his head. He walks over to you, squatting down on the floor. “Come on, get up,” he tells you.
You look down at him, your cheeks reddening. “Oppa, I’m wearing a dress, you can’t give me a piggy back ride,” you reason with him.
“Jagi, it’s almost one in the morning, I’m sure no one is lurking around,” he persists slightly tapping your calf. “Wait,” he stands up. “Give me your shoes.”
You slightly push him. “Yah, oppa, I’m not going to let you throw away my heels again like you did last time,” you tell him making Seung Ri laugh.
This wasn’t the first time you’ve struggled with heels. Last time it happened, Seung Ri bought to flats and threw your shoes away while you weren’t looking.
“I promise I won’t,” he assures you, holding his hand out.
You sigh and take off your shoes, your feet relaxes as soon as the cool breeze hits it. After handing your shoes to Seung Ri, he squats down once again. But you were still reluctant to get on his back.
“Yah, oppa’s back is going to start hurting if you keep me waiting,” he teases you.
“But oppa, if you carry me, it’ll be worse,” you argue.
“You don’t weigh a pound babe, come on, get on oppa,” he smirks devilishly. “I know this is the first time you’re climbing on with clothes on, but its okay, there’s a first time for everything.”
“Oppa!” You playfully kick his behind making Seung Ri laugh.
“Yah! Stop making oppa wait!” He scolds you.
You roll your eyes, but a smile appears on your face. Lee Seung Hyun, even with his over confident personality, is such a wonderful boyfriend to you.
You wrap your arms around his neck. He stands up, your legs automatically wrapping around his waist. He holds you up by placing his arms below your knees, giving you a bit more of support. Thankfully, your dress decides to cooperate and your underwear was safely hidden.
“See, not so bad right?” He asks you as he begins to walk.
“I guess not,” you reply, looking around the park that was illuminated by the moon and the lamp posts.
“Babe, you need to eat more, you’re a little too light.” Seung Ri teases you making you laugh.
“Yah, I’m not that light, I’m perfectly fine the way I am.” You playfully smack him causing him to groan.
“Yah, how can you hit me when I’m carrying you, do you want oppa to drop you?” He warns you.
“No, but you don’t have to carry me,” you tell him. “Isn’t it weird that you’re carrying me around the park?”
“No. Why? I’ve carried you numerous of times before,” he points out to you.
“But you’ve never given me a piggy back ride before,” you reply. “And never in a public place,”
“First time for everything,” he smirks.
