Unrequited
I have to watch as he kisses her, hugs her, says he loves her. It's been unrequited for years yet I haven't given up.
Naive, oblivious, ignorant, stupid, or just plain blind. I'm an idiot for sticking around and hurting myself by watching them
"Aleks!" A voice brought me out of my thoughts
"Yeah?" I replied
"I'm gonna leave now"
"Bye Natalie"
She waved and left. Finally, time for Eddie and Aleks
"Aleks Aleks Aleks" Eddie sang as he plopped down next to me
"Hey Sly" I smiled
He giggled and put an arm around my shoulders. I blushed at the contact. It's meaningless, you're best friends
"What do you want to do today buddy?" He poked my cheek
"Nothing" I shrugged
He groaned "co op?"
"I guess"
We got up and went to our rooms to record a minecraft video together

Here we are again, Square one. I'm back to silently cursing Natalie as she cuddles with my Eddie

I can't stand it. I stood up and stormed to my room. I sat on my computer chair and started spinning. Unrequited, fuck me!
There were two knocks at my door. Who cares? They are just gonna come in no matter what I do or say. In came Eddie and Natalie, they sat on my bed. Surprisingly they had space between them, unlikely to see that
"Sooo?" Sly started
"What?" I asked
"Natalie, why don't you start" sly suggested
She coughed "I'm not actually dating Eddie"

"It was his plan" she finished and motioned to Eddie
I turned to him
"Listen Aleks. I- uh- I love you" he started
What. The. Actual. Flying. Fuck
"I asked Natalie to help me make you jealous. I know, I'm stupid and an idiot. Well, I'm an idiot who's in love. I'm your idiot" he ended with a giggle
"Now Aleks, I think you have something to say" Natalie pressed
I nodded "I love you too Sly. I always have"
"God I feel like a dick" he sighed
"You should"
"Fuck you"
"You're gonna say that to the person you just confessed to?" I raised an eyebrow and smirked
"Sorry" he muttered
I stood up and opened my arms. He gladly hugged me
"Finally, you butts took forever" Natalie laughed
"He hasn't even asked me out yet so I don't know what you're talking about" I stated bluntly
Natalie and I both let out a laugh
"Aleks, will you be my boyfriend?" Eddie questioned
I nodded "of course Eddie"
I leaned forward and our lips touched. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer
"Would you look at that, he called you Eddie" Natalie cooed
"I thought it would be appropriate" I responded
She smiled
"can you please leave so I can be alone with Eddie?" I put emphasis on Eddie
"Oh! Sorry, don't mind me. I'm just leaving" she ran out the door
I interlocked Eddie and my hands
"I love you" I pecked him on the lips
"I love you too" he let out his golden giggled
