The warmth of the Sun awoke me
Through the winter I had slept
The darkened bitter cold receded
So overcome with joy I wept
God's rays pierced through the treetops
And gently danced upon my skin
Compelling me to realize
I'd been trapped by my own sin
The Darkness and the bitter cold
Seized me not of its own accord
I had given summons
Leaving no chance of moving forward
Now, as the Sun revealed itself
Forcing the Darkness to recede
Illuminating my intended path
I now walk with Company
