You said you loved me once,
As we made love on a blanket in the field,
This is my Providence
To live a life alone
In this cruel world
Cold and hard as stone
This is my Providence
You claim I cause misery
In everyone I love
A demon from the underworld,
An angel cast from up above
This is my Providence
My sins mark me for hell
Tears fill my very eyes
Abused and thrown away
Perishing alone, just as I lived my life
This is my Providence
Why did you have to abandon me?
Devastation, pain so sharp
You drove me to insanity,
Crushing my very heart
Marked for a life alone
This is my Providence
