The truth?
It would be easier to keep looking for the perfect person for me.
It would be easier to just ignore the beating of my heart and the butterflies in my stomach when I'm around you.
It would be easier to tell myself to keep all the cute things I want to say to you in my head.
The truth?
It would be easier but I'd rather go the hard way and take some risks than never get the chance to fully be in love with you.
