Halfway through the movie, Landon and Samija reposition themselves so that Samija is leaning against Landon. Samija is comfortable enough that she falls asleep before the end of the movie. Landon gently picks her up the same way he had at the beach and carefully carries her to the bed and lays her down. He pulls the blankets over her and heads back to the couch. He falls asleep right at the end of the movie.

Landon wakes up the next morning at 8 AM. He checks on Samija to find her still sleeping soundly. He makes pancakes this morning. When the pancakes are made, he goes to wake up Samija. He gently shakes her shoulder.

"Morning sunshine." He says as she opens her eyes and looks at him.

"Morning." She mumbles as she slowly sits up and rubs her eyes.

"I made pancakes." He smiles at her and holds out his hand. She takes his hand and stands up. He walks her to the table. The plate of pancakes sits in the middle of the table steaming. "What do you like on your pancakes?"

"Do you have any peanut butter?"

"I believe so." He rummages around in the cupboard and finds a jar of peanut butter. He checks the expiration date on the jar. "It's still good, never even been opened."

"Thank you." She smiles as she takes a few pancakes off the stack and sets them on the plate in front of her. While spreading peanut butter on the pancakes, she wonders how she ended up in the bed. She remembers falling asleep on the couch in Landon's arms.

"If you're wondering, I carried you to the bed so you could sleep comfortably." Samija pours maple syrup on her pancakes as he says this.

"Oh, that was sweet of you." She smiles and takes a bite of her pancakes. "Hmm, yummy!"

"Glad you like them.  My RV driver just texted me and told me that we are going to be getting on the road at about 9:30 AM. Sound good? Did you want to talk to your parents before then?"

"Yes, I'd like to talk to them first and that sounds good. Plus I also have to get my clothes and things from Dad's RV." They finish their pancakes and clean up. She runs her fingers through her hair to make it look somewhat presentable. "Oh man, I totally need my brush." They both laugh. They walk over to Erik's RV. Landon knocks on the door. Aria opens the door and lets them in.

"Morning you two." She smiles. "Erik says you guys are heading out at 9:30, I'll miss you so much."

"I'll miss you too, Mom." Samija hugs her mom. When they let go of each other, Samija goes and grabs her suitcase, phone charger, laptop and its case and all her bathroom things. She also grabs the food she brought that no one but her eats.

"Hopefully soon, I'll be able to travel with you again. They say I'll be here in Daytona Beach for a month then after that I can go back to working from home, or in this family's case, RV."

"I hope so too. It's not the same travelling without you."

"It's 9:15, kiddo, you two should get back to the RV. I'll see you in Kentucky. Call me when you get there." Erik says and hugs Samija.

"Okay Dad. I love you both."

"We love you too." Aria and Erik say at the same time.

"Keep her safe, Landon. I'm counting on you." Erik shakes Landon's hand.

"I will. You can count on me." Landon replies. They walk out and head back to Landon's RV. He opened the door for her. When she walks past him and into the RV, he notices she looks a little sad. He follows her into the RV and closes the door. She sits on the couch and he sits next to her. "What's wrong Samija?"
