Sorry for going AWOL but I was super duper busy!!!

Recap-
Akeera’s older brother Karam comes back to see her and they decide to lay a game of spin and seek which lands the boys in custody of the LAPD. Akeera works out an elaborate dramatic plan to get them out. She is successful but the guys are pissed at her since she got them in trouble in the first place.
Ending of the previous chapter-

“For your sake I hope you have learnt to learn better and faster in these four years!” Kunal threatened.
The three of them were taking slow predatory steps towards me as I took equal steps back.
“They thought we were freaking terrorists!”
“They rugby tackled us!”
“I’m pretty sure all us our bruised!”
They said not stopping their steps.
“OKAY GUYS STOP!” I said raising a hand refusing to take another step back.
“What do you have left to say now?” Karam asked.
“Nothing I just needed a 30 second head start!” I yelled before breaking out in a run knowing full well I’m done for.

Akeera~
“WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO YOU GUYS?” said mum and Geeta aunty looking at us with horrified expressions.
“Are they our kids?” dad asked peering at us through his glasses.
“It’s hard to tell? All of them are covered in mud!” said Ravi uncle.
“Don’t you guys recognize your own kids??” Kunal said dramatically.
“Irritating, whiney over dramatic words; Ravi that is my son alright!” dad said smirking.
“Ha… ha… dad that was hilarious!” Kunal said dryly as I burst out laughing.
“Stop joking, boys! What happened to you kids?” Geeta aunty asked a worried expression marring her face.
“Akeera happened.”
“Kabeer that was an understood fact that Akeera would be the root to this but we want the whole story!”
“Hey mum! I’m standing right here! Rude much?” I exclaimed.
Ignoring me mum looked at the boys questioningly.
“We were chasing Akeera through the cemetery when Kunal fell into an open freshly dug grave then we tried getting him out but all of us fell in too then it rained and we got muddy, we got one of the ground workers to help us. It’s safe to say he wasn’t very happy about it, and we are definitely not welcome there anymore.” Karam explained.
