Everything I've written is based on the events of Critical Role: 'A bunch of nerdy ass voice actors, playing Dungeons and Dragons', live-stream on Twitch. But some of the facts have been very slightly altered to allow the story to translate better from a Twitch show to a book. Because Critical Role streams live, small mistakes and loopholes inevitably creep in, so that at times I've had to choose between conflicting facts. I've taken creative license with some things that are not specifically stated, and there are a few things that were just too good to leave out. I hope that I've spelled most of the names right, but all I can do is ball park it, so if anyone knows how the hell to spell Count Tyleeri's name then please, please get in touch with me.
