"WOO-HOO!" I screeched loudly as I raced down the dusty road. My red and purple motorbike was picking up dust and my hair was flowing behind me. I looked in my side mirror. I still had about 5 Dracs on my ass, and it looked like they weren't giving up anytime soon. The adrenaline was coursing through me at a fast pace, and I enjoyed the feeling. I didn't know what to do next. Where ever I go, they'll follow me. And since I have no hideout or anywhere to go, I don't know where I could lead them. My bike would run out of gas if I just keep driving like this. Then an idea popped into my mind, but it was a pretty stupid one.
"Well, I guess I have to do it then.." I muttered to myself. It was a huge risk, but I would have to take it.
Now I don't usually do bike tricks. But right now, in this moment, it called for one. I can not shoot at anything behind me if I was facing forward, and I had to see the road infront of me. So, I suddenly hit the brakes on the bike and did a 180 until I was backwards and facing the Drac's. I then quickly set the bike in reverse so fast a rattlesnake would miss my hand and hit the gas. I was officially driving backwards. I held my gun in my hand, the purple, red, and black spray paint smooth on my skin. I shot and the Dracs and hit about two of them. The other three dodged the flying blast and the one in the middle sped up. I kept a close eye on my side mirror while shooting. Just to be careful. They were gaining on me, and I didn't have much time to think. So I just did what I thought would have been the most stupidest things in the world, but turned out to be the opposite.
I shot at the front Drac's front bike tire, it exploding on impact. He lost control and went down to the ground along with his bike. The other two didn't have enough time to react, because the ran right into him, creating a small pile up. Now was my chance.
I did another 180 and put the bike in drive and sped off as fast as the precious bike could take me.
"Well then.. Do they ever leave me alone?" I asked to no one in particular. I sighed and let the dirt fly up past me, invading my purple, red, and black locks of hair. I decided to turn of the radio. It was so quiet out here anyway. Music leaked through the speakers, playing the familiar tune of Monkey Wrench by Foo Fighters. I tapped my fingers on the steering handles to the beat if the song. Once it ended, Dr. Death Defying's voice invaded the small space around me.
"And that was Monkey Wrench by Foo Fighters. And now, for the traffic. My sources told me there's been a collision out in Zone 3, a couple of Drac's. But it looks like there no longer a threat. Don't worry about them though, but keep your boots tight and your guns close. And that was your traffic report.." I relaxed my shoulders a little. At least I knew no one else was following me.

It always wasn't like this for me. I used to have a normal life. A mom, a dad, a little brother, even a boyfriend. By the time I got to high school, I only had one friend. But that was all I needed.
And I miss those times.
I miss those times when I would sit with my mom and cry with her while we listened to music. I miss how my dad would take me to the beach and let me bury him in sand. I miss my brother, even if he would irritate me and I would do it in return. But we still loved each other. I miss my boyfriend and how we would hang out on my roof and talk about useless things. How at every dance, we would make a fool of ourselves. I even miss the arguments.
But those times ended after my dad walked out. My mom was devastated. She cried everyday and every night. She was so sad that we would have to lay in her bed until she stopped crying. She really did love him.
I remember when the fires hit. And the Draculoids were everywhere. I saw my boyfriend die right in front of me. He was shot. My mother's and brother's bodies surrounded by a pool of blood. They were shot too. But in a sick way, I was happy that they died quickly. At least they didn't have to burn like most people.
I remember fleeing from my city, running from Drac's, who were tying to shove those dammed pills down my throat. It wasn't a pretty sight to lay your eyes on. Burning buildings falling apart and people running around screaming.
Few weeks later, I found my bike, and took off. And I vowed to find a way to destroy Better Living Industries for what they did. Even if it killed me.
I threw another stick in the tiny fire I had started. It wasn't much, but it was getting dark and I didn't wanna freeze tonight. Don't get confused; just because it a desert doesn't mean its scorching at night too. It gets so cold at night. So cold.
I leaned up against my bike and looked at the sky. The stars were out tonight, and they're beautiful.
I ended up stargazing myself to sleep.
And that was the first chapter! I know! It sucked! But at least I tried. This will be continued probably next week, depending in the reviews I get. So comment what you thought and if I should continue or not
Thank you!
