A/N
First of all I want to thank everyone for the 1.13k views! Seriously, it usually takes WEEKS even MONTHS for one of my fanfics to get this many reads and I just want to say that I appreciate everyone who has voted, commented, and encouraged me to keep going!
Anywho, on with the story!

Also, I'm about to throw in a few different things for the next few chapters so let me know what you think!

Legolas' POV

Where am I? What is happening to me? I feel empty, weightless.
I do not know who I am, or where I am going.

I hear voices but I cannot make out whay they are saying. They do not sound cruel, but how can I know if they are my allies?

Enemies have a way of making themselves sound like friends. How can I trust anyone? How do I know that they will not hurt me?

I can feel the wounds that have been inflicted on me, the scars that cover my body. What had I done to deserve them?

Did the people who have me do this to me? Why can I not see them? Why can I only remember my injuries?

I want to remember, I want to know who these people are, I want to who I am.

But to do that, I'd have to open my eyes...

Legolas' eyes slowly opened, he blinked several times to adjust them to the light.

Light? When was the last time he had seen light? And why could he remember nothing about himself?

"You're awake."
Legolas jumped at the voice. He looked up and saw a tall, blonde ellon standing beside his bed.

Bed? Why am I in a bed? How can I remember that this is a bed, and that he is an elf, but I cannot remember my own name?

"Legolas? Are you well?"
The elf said sitting down on his bed.

Legolas? Is that my name? No, it cannot be. It must belong to someone else.

Legolas is dead.

"Gwador? Are you alright? You have been asleep for almost two weeks."

Gwador? That means brother, why would he call me his brother? I do not know this elf.

"Who are you? Where am I?"
Legolas tried to sit up, only to gasp in pain as he collapsed back onto his pillow.

The elf in front of him looked confused.
"How do you not know me? I am your brother, Thalion. And you are home Legolas, in Mirkwood."

Brother, Thalion, home, Legolas, Mirkwood. It does seem familiar, but it cannot be right...

"How is he?"
A soft voice came from the door that led into the room. Legolas watched as an elleth entered the room and stood next to Thalion.

"He seems to have no memory."
Thalion took her hand into his.
"He does not remember me, or his home."

Inwë looked at Legolas in concern.
"Do you remember anything Legolas?"
"Why do you call me that?"
"What?"
"Legolas, you keep calling me that."
