I'm supposed to state 13 facts about myself.
1.) My nickname is Sai
2.) My birthday is the 12th of August. Yes, I'm a summer baby and a summer person.
3.) I love juvenile fiction, not much teen stuff (NO TWILIGHT. NO FIFTY SHADES). Some of my favorite authors are J.R.R, C.S Lewis, Tolkein, Lemony Snicket, Lloyd Alexander, Eva Ibbotson, Diana Wynne Jones, J.K Rowling, Neil Gaiman, Sydney Sheldon, Jane Austen, Lucy Muad Montgomery, and so many more. I read a lot. I'm a very very fast reader. Nowadays, that includes research papers and studies conducted on stuff.
4.) My favorite class this entire semester (Spring 2016): Englit 1241 Jane Austen class. A class focusing on Austen and her works. I have the best professor. I'm taking him for Renaissance Lit. next semester.
5.) Im not a particular fan of Yaoi, also I will never understand why yaoi fangirls are so viscous. I recall once this user on somewhere I can't remember called me a homophobe just because I wasn't into it. I was like girl, "who you callin' a homophobe? I'm bi." Honestly the word 'homophobe' is thrown around like candy on the internet. I'm ranting now...lol
Anywho the only Yaoi parings that I've ever been into are mostly in Sailor Moon (I have no real straight ship there lol), or as of late Kylo Ren x Hux. Black Butler? Maybe, if Ciel was older. I mean I guess older Ciel x Sebastian. But I'm not really into Kuroshitsuji anymore. Huh, that sums it up I guess.
6.) I'm quite proud of my ethnic roots, I get a lot of inspiration for my art from there.
7.) I come from a very traditional and conservative religious family. Needless to say, my parents are quite 'thrilled' that I turned out swell *dripping with sarcasm*.
8.) I can speak/read/write Urdu and English fluently, Punjabi is very broken, but I understand it perfectly. Punjabi is like the ghetto language of Pakistan and India (we know that my mom is pissed when she starts speaking in Punjabi).
9.) I admire my sis, and she's a year and a half younger than me. But a genius at what she does. She happens to Mediterranean history major....hmmmm I have an odd and funny family (including the extended fam)...
10.) I'm a Cognitive Psych major, with an English minor (I didn't plan on having that, it just happened) and I plan on going into the legal psychology. Our justice system really needs help...I'll be graduating after the Spring 2017 semester (and summer classes). I actually was a Nutrition major before, but I changed my major, it's kind of why I'm a bit behind. I find it ironic that my minor is English, but I can't write a fanfic for the life of me.
11.) I don't have a specific music genre if I like it, I'll listen to it. Although as of late it's usually been stuff by Really Slow Motion, desi stuff, kpop and Ed Sheeran.
12.) My favorite ice cream flavor is hands down Mint choco chip ice cream. I also love Freeze-pops, squid, french bread, dried seaweed snacks, green tea, bubble tea (lychee flavor), cucumbers and avocados.
13.) I love my childhood. 90's were the times. Back when skorts existed. lol
