The two get thrown into a room. They land on the floor hard, and Anne yelps and jumps up, loses balance, and again falls. On Jake. She freezes and Jake gently pushes her off, shaking her out of her mind.
"Oh jeez! Sorry, I hurt my hand really bad, so when I hit it, it startled me!"
Jake laughs.
"It's alright princess. Everyone falls for me."
He swipes his bangs to the side, looking at her in amusement.
"I-I, What? No!" Anne cringes at her stuttering and roughly shoves herself up from the floor.
"Whatever, princess!" He replies in an airy tone, standing up.
Anne goes over to the window and sighs.
"My parents will be searching for me now."
Jake looks up, startled.
"Is it dark out already? Oh no! We need to get out now!" He exclaims.
Anne stares at him.
"Are you that stupid? Look at the bars on that window!" She retorts.
Jake sighs.
"Oh, right. Our parents will be worried though."
Anne stares into the distance.
"Yeah they will. There's nothing we can do though. We should just go to sleep."
Jake looks around the room.
"Uh... There's a problem." He mutters.
Anne looks around and curses.
"Only one bed? What the hell are these people thinking?"
"You may have the bed, princess. I'll sleep on the floor." Jake smirks.
"That floor is nasty, are you sure?" Anne sighs.
Jake looks up at her.
"You suggesting we both sleep on the bed? That may be uncomfortable." He laughs. Annabeth blushes bright red.
"N-no. I- Never mind!" She mutters. "Boys."
