Silence

(I had inspiration, I don't feel like ignoring this, actually a true event)

I sat there in my room, my walls weren't very thick, you could hear everything. I heard my grandmas speaking downstairs, they were talking about a tv show or something. I laid down on my bed thinking about my plans for tomorrow, hanging out with friends and doing stuff. I was planning out some details about stuff, I wanted to think that there was nothing wrong with my life, usually ignoring things at the corner of my eye. I had great friends, and a boyfriend named Jaime, which my strict parents still do not know about. So I laid there looking at the ceiling.

I heard footsteps running upstairs, I'd imagine it'd be my brother, he always comes home this time after school. I heard my brother slam the door. Then I heard a slam at the door from the entrance.

He screamed my brothers name. My fathers reasons were bullshit for yelling at my brother. He made a mistake, a miniature one, it didn't even matter, but my father is a smoker, a drunk and abusive. He's never in my life, and he thinks he has control over everything in our lives. It was bullshit, pure bullshit.

My brother won't tell me this, but something happened between him and my father. It gives him a reason to hate my father. Right now I hate him too.

I heard them arguing downstairs, I heard the most awful sound I've heard in my life. It was the sound of my older brothers voice cracking, the kind you know he's about to cry. He didn't deserve this, but I couldn't do anything. So I sat there crying too. My house after five minutes, was filled with pure silence. It was terrible, because nothing is worse than the quiet.

I laid in my bed with tears streaming down my face. I heard a buzz, a couple more buzzes, guessing it came from my phone. I didn't think that what someone was telling me was more important than my brother. It couldn't be. Then I heard my phone buzzing into a ringtone, I still ignored it a couple times. Then when I got annoyed I decided to finally answer the call. Before I did I took a couple deep breaths to stop myself from crying.

"Hello?" I said in to the phone, my god it sounded like I just woke up.

"Hey...are you okay?" I recognised the voice, it was my boyfriend Jaime.

"Yeah, yeah I'm totally fine..." I said with my voice cracking

"you don't sound fine...." He said

"I am..." I said

"Just wait" He said before he hung up, so I just laid there in bed thinking about what would have happened if I stepped up between my brother and father, maybe things may have ended differently.

I heard a knock at my window, so I pulled the curtain and saw Blue Beetle flying outside my window.  I pulled up my window and asked

"Blue beetle what are you doing here?!" I whispered in delight, which felt weird because I was in tears and my throat was swelled up so the sound of delight felt terrible to my throat.

He flew inside and sat on my bed, as he did that, the armour went away? Well okay then. Under that armour was my boyfriend Jaime, wow this day is full of surprises.

"Jaime...you're Blue Beetle?" I asked

"Mhm, and as a superhero, I need to be yours right now" He said to me.

I walked up to my doorway to lock it just in case my dad or brother walks in, nobody knows I have a boyfriend except for the people at school.

"What do you mean?" I asked in a hushed tone.

"I could tell you weren't fine....so tell me why" he said.

I let out a huge sigh which I did not mean to do. So I sat next to him on my bed.

"I never told you, or anyone about the problems I have at home.." I said

"Problems, what kind of problems?" I said

"My dad and brother fight all the time.... my mom is always working so she's never home to know about any of these issues, I tend to keep my private life, private" I said "My brother had a big fight with my brother about 30 minutes ago, and my dad bullshitted his way through the fight, he never listens, just he bullshits through everything"

"I'm sorry..." he said

"Jaime" I said holding his face and putting my forehead against his "You're the only person in my life who doesn't bullshit their way through anything"

He had the most adorable laugh after I had said that, he laid down on my bed and left and arm spot for me, I laid down in that arm spot and hugged him. I laid my head on his chest and fell asleep there, it just felt right.

(ANYWAYS YEAH, IM PROBABLY GONNA BE WRITING A SHITTON OF STORIES NEXT WEEK SO BE PREPARED BECAUSE IM COMIN MAN, ALSO THIS MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE BEEN A TRUE STORY EXCEPT ABOUT THE JAIME PART SO... YEP)
