Sydney's Pov

At school, Sydney was in her class listening to her teacher give a boring lecture, Sydney began to sigh and begin to wish something new could come into her life or dead life instead of the same old thing. Suddenly she saw a young boy the same age as her, he had brown hair and purple eyes and he was a vampire like she was!!

Mrs. Roberts:

class I would like you to meet a new student his name is Dylan Smith

Dylan:

hi there

Mrs. Roberts:

Dylan why don't you go sit next to Sydney over there

Dylan floated to Sydney's desk and she became speechless when he saw her

Dylan:

hi I'm Dylan and you must be Sydney right?

Sydney:

.............

Dylan:

are you always like this?

Sydney:

n-no I'm not always like this I just um ... so how do you like this school so far?

Dylan:

eh it's better than my old school

that's when the Sydney and Dylan began a long conversation during class, every time Dylan would talk about her she blushed and smiled and Dylan did the same.

20 minutes later

Mrs. Roberts:

have a nice weekend students!!

Dylan and Sydney left the class and Sydney made her way out of the school and began to get home. When she got there Sydney rushed inside and rushed into her and her sisters room where Annika was reading a book and then Sydney jumped into her bed and smiled

Sydney:

isn't life just great!!

Annika:

okay what's with you?

Sydney:

oh Annika I met this cute boy named Dylan in class! he is so cute!!

Annika:

Dylan? wow he must be into you

Sydney:

you think so?

Annika:

yeah he might even call you right now

Suddenly the phone downstairs began to ring

Annika:

see I told you

Sydney:

I guess you were right!!

Sydney downstairs and over to the phone and picked it up, to her surprise she heard Dylan's voice and smiled

Dylan:

hi Sydney

Sydney:

oh h-hi D-Dylan, why did you call?

Dylan:

well I called cause I wanted to ask you something

Sydney:

really? what is it?

Dylan:

well I was wondering if you wanted to uh go on a date tonight?

Sydney:

ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!

Dylan:

yes I am, do you want to go out with me?

Sydney:

YES I WOULD LOVE TO!!

Dylan:

Awesome!! pick you up at 8:00 tonight okay?

Sydney:

sure see you then bye!!

Sydney hung up the phone and so did Dylan

Sydney:

AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

she screamed which alarmed Fionna and Marshal lee, they both ran downstairs and came next to Sydney worried

Fionna:

Sydney what's wrong?!!

Marshall:

are you hurt?!! did Ashley come back and hurt you?!!

Sydney:

I'm fine, I'm just so excited that he asked me on a date!!!

Fionna:

he? you met a boy didn't you?

Sydney:

yeah I did he is so cute!!

Marshall:

well what's his name?

Sydney:

his name is Dylan smith!! isn't that such a cool name?!!

Marshall:

(gasps) uh Sydney can I talk to you for a minute?

Sydney:

sure dad

Marshall:

okay, Fionna can you leave he room for a minute?

Fionna nodded then she left the room, Marshall and Sydney sat on the couch

Marshall:

Sydney there's something I need to tell you

Sydney:

what is it dad?

Marshall:

Sydney you can't date Dylan

Sydney:

why can't I date him dad?

Marshall:

because...(sighs)

Marshall:

he's Ashley's son
