Hannah's POV
I was not falling for Chris Lanzon. I couldn't be.

Could I?

Meeting him in person, totally different from looking at a poster.
He called me pretty, and beautiful.
No one had ever uttered a single word of praise about my looks before. I wasn't pretty or stunning.

But he was still an ordinary boy. To me, he was just another boy my age, who had a good singing voice. That's all.

I hope.
~
"Come on come on come on Hannah! We're going to be late and I absolutely can not be late!"

"Ugh, shut your piehole. I'm coming."
My feet flew down the stairs as I approached the car.
Somehow, I felt like dressing up today. I never liked dressing up.
My choice of wardrobe to the concert was a black and white striped tight short shirt which went up to above my belly. My black skin tight jeans complemented my top with white converse to top it off.
My hair was in a high pony tail which I couldn't be bothered straightening. I applied a bit of mascara and lipstick to add a chic look.

I had to admit, for once in my life, I actually looked pretty good.

I shuffled into the car and Grace and mum both turned their heads towards me, their eyes wide.
"What?" I demanded.
Grace looked like she was crying.
"My big sister actually looks worthy enough to be my big sister."
~
The outside of Rod Laver Arena was flooded with people all screaming with excitement.
"Sweet Jesus, we'll never get in at this rate." I muttered.
Grace reached into her Nike backpack and pulled out two tickets.
"As the smart and thoughtful sister I am, I asked mum to book two front row seats for us."

That bitch is good.
~
The lights in the Arena were flashing with neon pink, blue and red. I could feel the adrenaline in me. So this was what it feels like to come to a concert.

I had a perfect view of the stage. I couldn't help but feel excited.
Would Chris notice me?

Wait, what was I talking about. I did not like Chris. Or In Stereo.
I was simply here to supervise.
I nudged Grace with my shoulder.
"You excited Boo."
She nodded her head excitedly like a five year old.

Kinda hard to think that she was actually thirteen. Like, I'm fifteen and I act like I'm fifteen.

And that was when the screaming started. The whole stadium erupted into screams and cheers and applause as three boys came running onto the stage.
Ethan was smiling and waving to the crowd.
Jakob......Oh my God Jakob....was looking incredible. His white loose t-shirt with the logo AUTHORITY written on it made his skin radiant and tanned, toned legs carrying his gorgeous body to the centre of the stage.
He was beautiful.
Why was it that when I actually saw them for myselves, I would feel this way?
Don't be silly Hannah.

Then, there was Chris.
Perfect Chris.
He was wearing all black with blue sneakers. His guitar slung over his shoulder by the strap. He made himself look good so effortlessly.
He smiled widely baring his pearl white teeth to the screaming fans. His cheeks pink with excitement. I could not take my eyes off him.
"Hellooo Melbourne!!!" Ethan's playful voice echoed through the arena. "Who's excited for tonight?!?!"
To my surprise, I found myself cheering along with everyone else.
I WAS excited.
The band launched into a song written by In Stereo.
clear voice rang through as he sang and I couldn't help but just jump with the crowd.

"Time stops, when I see you. Tight jeans and a reckless hairdo. The kinda girl I've wanted for. For Forever, whatever. The way she's rocking to the beat. The converse platforms on her feet. She don't think she's cover girl material."

I had a pang of realisation that this song described me exactly.

"Hey ho, Stereo. Saying something she don't know. She's everything, everything I dream. She's rock and roll to me. Hey ho, rock and roll. She's the crowd at every show. Singing back from the front row to me, she's rock and roll to me."
