the ride was entirely silent, except a few times when the little boy groaned when his head bobbed up and down on jungkook's shoulder. as it was nearing midnight, it was no doubt that he soon got sleepy and began dozing off on jungkook.
on the other hand, despite having an additional load on his shoulder, jungkook appeared to be indifferent. he couldn't sleep for the entire journey and all the while, he was just staring emotionlessly out of the window. looking at the unfamiliar road, he wasn't sure where his hyungs were actually leading him to, but deciding on putting his trust on them for just one last time, he tagged along.
thirty minutes was sufficient enough to get them there and stepping onto the brakes, the car soon came to a stop.
"here we are", announced seokjin and sitting up, blinking his eyes for several times, jungkook attempted to register the area which was encircling them.

he knew. jungkook knew that his journey was coming to an end when the warehouse stood in front of him. jumping up, he struggled to escape but even before he could get into action, the two doors at the sides got forcefully open, revealing two other intruders.
"i am sorry but i've to separate you two from now on", a familiar voice sounded and taking a glance up, jungkook was beyond shocked.
staring right in front of him, there was jung hoseok and without warning, he roughly pulled the little boy away from jungkook, waking him up in the process.
"help officer jeon! help me!", the boy got startled and his cries grew deafening, but even with jungkook's efforts, he lost the battle sadly. jungkook had tried to fight back, but was however defenceless, when someone else soon took the chance to attack him from the back.
"jeon jungjook", a pair of pale arms engulfed him from behind him and acting on impulse, jungkook immediately elbowed him on his stomach before throwing a punch at him right after.

the guy stumbled a few steps back before regaining his balance and wiping off the speck of blood that has formed at the corner of his lips, he then threw smirk at jungkook.
"is this how you greet your hyung?", he asked sarcastically while jungkook eyed him with burning eyes.
"you guys are not my hyungs anymore! min yoongi, i don't even know who are you now and why are you even doing this!", bellowed jungkook and attempting to sneak an attack on him yet again, he however failed when two other guys dressed in black hoodies soon came into picture.

pushing jungkook hardly onto the wall, one of them tried strangling him but fortunately, jungkook managed to jerk him off.
"don't hurt the boy and release lee dahae", warned jungkook as he stared hard into the guy's eyes. but upon hearing his words, the guy could only let out an evil laughter.
"taehyung-ah, look how our kookie is trying to play hero here", he taunted and pulling down his hoodie to finally reveal himself, it showed park jimin.
licking his lips, jimin let his fingers trailed along jungkook's jawline and teasingly, he held his chin up before locking eyes with him.
"kookie-ah, how about just one last clue?", jimin nicely offered, while jungkook only continued on to glare at him.
"you are left with just fifteen minutes", he uttered and right after that, jungkook's world happened to black out.
