Adam's pov:
We were all walking I had my fingers interlocked with Carl's we all came to a halt
-time skip-
I was sitting next to Carl around the fire of this make shift camp Carl interlocked are fingers and I smiled
I heard "Carl" Carl unlocked are finger and whispered to me "I'll be back in a second"
Carl's pov:
I walked over to my dad and asked "ya what's up?" He looks at me like I just died or something and he felt sorry for me or maybe I was miss reading his face,he speaks up "Carl I'm perfectly fine with it if you are but.......are you and ad-" I cut him of "dad were.......ya we are and I'm happy" he looks at me and he smiles at me and pats my head and stands up and says "ok I'm happy for you Carl" I nod as he walks away
I walk over to Adam and sit down interlocking are fingers he looks at me with his beautiful forest green eyes I take my free hand and cup his chin and pull him into a quick kiss

Adam's pov:
The group was walking in the woods I had my fingers intertwined with Carl's I count be happier I know it was a bad situation but I was happy I was happy no one got hurt and I have my fingers intertwined with Carl's I count be happier until I heard "HELP HELP PLEASE HELP" Carl lightly pulls me as he try's to run to the person who needs help wen no one follows except for me it's not like I had a choice he had a death grip on my hand
Carl's holding my hand with a death grip as he try's to convince his dad to come help the person in need "dad cmon dad dad cmon" Rick nods and we all hurry toward the noise
We reach the noise to see a man on top of a huge rock with about five walkers under it
