Abbadon seemed taken back by my sudden outburst. The Mark was burning up, finally releasing all of my pent up emotions. I might have been screaming. Or maybe it was Abbadon. I didn't know.

At some point, I ended up on top of Abbadon. I wasn't sure where the Blade went, but my hands were literally inside of her stomach. Gasping, I scrambled away slightly, searching for the Blade with frantic eyes.

"It's... It's about time you finally started putting some effort into your fight," Abbadon spat out, blood staining her teeth as she struggled to her feet. I got up as well, only to find that my ankle was snapped.

Let me loose, Aria, let me kill her, my mind was screaming. I smacked my ear, trying to focus. Abbadon was expecting me to become insane, to savagely try to rip her apart. If I wanted to win, then I waas going to have to think.

"Funny, isn't it?" Abbadon laughed, her wounds already starting to close up. Shit. "The monster I created is the only thing that can actually kill me."

"Serves you right," I said, simply from a lack of better response. Abbadon was limping forwards, her stamina returning. I wasn't healing; my ankle wasn't resetting myself, and all of my injuries were still bleeding. I gritted my teeth, frustration making the Mark flare up again.

Abbadon faltered for a second, and the realization that she was scared gave me a boost of confidence.

Finally, finally, I spotted the Blade, sitting near the porch steps. I made a mad dash, which was a bad decision; the bones in my ankle were shifting and cracking painfully.

"Hah!" I cried out, collapsing beside the Blade and grabbing it, rolling away in time for Abbadon's boot to barely graze my face. I sat up, bringing the Blade down on her calf.

Abbadon screamed, red light flaring from the wound that the Blade inflicted. I tore upwards, splitting open as much of her leg as possible, and then immediately slashing at her open stomach. I made contact, slicing her once again, more red light appearing. She was smart enough to jump away, before I used her momentary weakness to my advantage even more. She reeled backwards, falling over and scrambling away from me.

I set my ankle as best as I could before standing up again, limping my way to where Abbadon was crawling away. I stomped on her hand as she was reaching for her own discarded weapon, successfully snapping the bones in her fingers. She tried to use her powers on me, but each time she did, it only powered the Mark more.

As a last effort, Abbadon kicked at me, and I didn't even try to dodge. She was weakened, bleeding still, the wounds from the Blade unable to heal. She laughed, bitterly, flopping onto her back and staring up at me.

"You won't win, even if I die," she chided. "I still have the other Knights, I still-"

"Oh, shut up," I snapped, and brought the Blade down, into her neck.

Shocked, Abbadon spluttered, before the red light overtook everything, momentarily blinding me. She screamed, her body arching before going limp completely.

Abbadon was dead.

I started at her body for a second, unbelieving. I did it. I got my revenge. I killed Abbadon.

For good measure, I brought the Blade down again, but it did nothing. No red light. No screams of pain.

"Hah," I chuckled, before breaking out in full, maniac laughter. It was over. It was finally over. Years of fighting, of torture, of training.

I did it.

"Aria?" Sam's voice said suddenly, and I looked over, a grin nearly splitting open my face. I probably looked terrifying, covered in blood and bleeding and laughing. Yet, Sam grinned at me, alive and breathing and holy shit it was over.
