prologue

Hard to believe that I'm living in the town of Bradford UK England I'm from originally from the town Wolverhampton but these days my life is great here in Bradford because of how everything unfold that I'm now happily married to the love of my life hard to believe that at one time he was one of my students but there's a story and how we came together a part of me I forgot to introduce myself my name is Liam James Payne and I am a math teacher at Bradford High

I'm like 4 years older than my husband but there's nothing wrong with that it's not a very big age difference he's a sweetheart and everything he was one of my students when I met him but don't get me wrong at the school I taught at which I still teach that till this day you are allowed to date a teacher in their twenties if your 18 and over the funny thing though is how all the girls will throw themselves at me because they thought they could get me but they didn't know that I was gay and I wasn't planning on falling for my student that I fell in love it it just happened because he was so broken and if it wasn't for me I don't think he wouldn't have been back the pieces until this day he can't stop thinking me he is the love of my life and we've been married for about four years now but the story was told it's four years ago when we met and this is how my life is these days but it took us awhile to get to this point and I would never trade him for the world and he would never trade me for the world believe it or not he's a teacher himself now at the same High School never thought I'd see the day that my husband that was one of my students become my colleague the subject she teaches so is English but like I said it took us awhile to get to this point that's where we are at now in life but let me take you back to the beginning when I first met him and how broken he was

The year news 2015

I was having some trouble back at home in my hometown my parents and I are doing great and so are my sisters and everything but I wanted to get away from my ex boyfriend he was a total ass I needed a fresh new start so my friends that are living in Bradford England told me that they can get me a job at the high school they were at so thankfully my best friend Luke who the vice principals at the school was able to swing it then I got a job there little did I know that the principal was my uncle I was surprised to see him when I got there

And I was grateful for all of them going to give me this job because like I said it was something that I really need it but little did I know that when I would start that all the girls will throw themselves at me and everything but then I would meet this young boy in one of my classes he was a really good student and everything but it seemed like he was hiding a lot of stuff that was hurting underneath he had a lot of tattoos and everything trying to just get by and I used to see him go off at lunchtime and that into a place where he wouldn't be harmed no one and I'd seen smoke and think of stuff and sometimes I would often wonder what's going on with that kid but eventually I came a good friend to him when he learned to trust and started talking to me when you need as a confident I was always there but eventually I was able help me out of a situation one of my best friends have been living around his area that's also a teacher at the school Louis Tomlinson knew a lot about what was going on and he too was concerned for everything that was happening in this kid's life anyway remember what it was like the day I started at the high school and when I first met Zayn jawaad Malik it was now my beautiful husband he's gone from a broken boy to a very confident man all because he learned to love

So like I said it was 2015 when I first met him

I take a deep breath and walk to the high school doors at Bradford High I couldn't believe I actually am now in a new town where my best friends are all working and I'm actually got a job at this new school hopefully everything will go the way it's supposed to be

I was walking down the corridor when I bumped into my best friend Louis

Liam hey man didn't mean to bump into you good to see you again haven't seen you in awhile since we went to college and everything in the stuff and got her teacher degrees and stuff together so you been doing

Louis I'm doing really great and everything on that just trying to keep up with everything around here as a teacher you know how things go well going forward by the way I'll show you to the office and then I'll teach you where to go and how to get around this place because sometimes Bradford High can be a freak maze to get around you might get lost

Liam good cuz I think that would be one of the best things we should do right now so I can find my way around here and everything

When we were talking on the phone and I saw that young boys run past us and running out he was covered in tattoos and everything but he seems so broken and I heard a bunch of people calling him a loser and everything and that I turned to Luis and ask him who it was

Louis who that young kid that ran out he ran like a bullet from a gun so fast that like he just wanted to get away from here and who were those people picking on him by the way

Louis that's kid is Zayn Malik a lot of people pick on him and everything because of his Heritage and other stuff and a lot of people don't know he has a lot of issues going on at home there's a bully is and everything in this school I just want to get under his skin yeah he has a lot on his tattoos and smoking and stuff like that I tried to get to them the best I can but sometimes he needs a lot of coaxing he thinks the fact that I'm here as a friend and everything for him I've known him since he was a kid in diapers so I try to be the best teacher I can to them you know and hey maybe you might be able to get through them if you get them in one of your classes just be careful with how you handle them because he can be kind of fragile

Liam yeah I'll keep them in line and I kind of figured you thought I'd be the type of case you didn't get through to my students because I always have been there be able to get through the kids and that so maybe hopefully I will see him in my classes and be able to you I'll be the teacher he needs let's just pray and hope that this year I don't have female students themselves at me like I did last year in my home town when I was a student teacher I mean I don't get it why they all want to throw themselves at me I mean I know I'm not that bad looking and stuff but I don't try to toot my own horn or anything but I'm gay I just wish they understood that

Louis yeah tell me about it everything will by the way when did you get into town because you do know that you're going to be one of my roommates right I mean you're only staying at the hotel until you guys got here so I can show you where I live and everything remember that cuz I told you I didn't want you stuck in an area where you couldn't get rent or anything a decent place you know what happened I Was Myself and I have a couple of rooms so you're know I'm willing to let you be one of my roommates

Liam yes I'm definitely taking you up on that offer because least then I know who I'm living with them wear them too and I've got somebody that can show me what to do to get around here a man on the side where we were roommates in college

Louis yes we were along with Luke and Calum was crazy as living all in one flat

Liam yeah you can say that again

Louis well here's your classroom and everything in this is everything you need when you start as the new math teacher in that anyway I'll talk to you later on cuz I got to get to my class

For some reason after the Louis left and I went into my classroom I couldn't seem to figure out why I couldn't get the poor broken boy Zayn Malik out of my mind
