(A/N: I was not prepared to write this at all...and not just because it's finals week and I should be studying instead.)

"What the fuck are you doing?" Mark demanded as he swung open his front door. Tom slowly lowered his hand from its knocking position. He raised his skateboard in his other hand in explanation.

"I thought we were going to the park," Tom answered, assuming Mark had forgotten their text conversation last night.

"Not that, you idiot," Mark huffed. He grabbed Tom's shoulder and dragged him into the house, slamming the door behind him. "What the fuck did you do?"

"Oh," Tom said, realization dawning on him. "Did your mom find the disc? Or was it Anne?"

"What the hell are you talking about?" Mark furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"What are you talking about?" Tom shot back, Mark's expression matching his own.

"I'm talking about Addison, dipshit," Mark exclaimed with frustration, throwing his hands into the air.

"What about her?" Tom asked, his confusion still remaining.

"You're fucking her!" he accused.

"How did you find out? Shit, you weren't still in the room, were you?" Tom asked cautiously.

"What the fuck, Tom? I was in the fucking room?"

Tom blushed. Clearly that hadn't been how Mark had found out. "No..." Tom answered uncertainly.

Mark rolled his eyes. "Addison told Skye, who told me," he explained.

"She told Skye about it?" Tom asked, smiling to himself.

"Dude, would you knock it off?" Mark hit Tom's shoulder. "This is no time to be having pride in yourself."

"Why not? You're the one who told me we should get back together," Tom pointed out.

"Yeah, as in a real relationship, as in asking her out on a date," Mark retorted.

"She doesn't want to date me!" Tom defended.

"Did you even ask her?" Mark eyed Tom suspiciously.

"Not in a straightforward manner exactly..."

"You're a complete dumbass," Mark sighed. He turned out of the foyer and headed towards his bedroom. Tom trailed after him, determined to convince him that Tom was right.

"She's with Pierre!" Tom argued. "Something she made sure to remind me of several times over the past few days. She wasn't going to break up with him just to go out with me again."

"You don't know that," Mark replied, frowning at Tom with disapproval.

"Uh, yeah I do. She wasn't even putting up with my flirting because she was with the guy," Tom informed, crossing his arms in front of his chest.

"Then how did you manage to get into her pants?" Mark retorted, opening his bedroom door.

"I guess I'm just irresistible," Tom smirked.

"You're a fucking idiot is what you are," Mark muttered. He grabbed a pair of Vans and sat down on the bed.

"Why?" Tom demanded, throwing his arms out to his sides. Mark looked at him with a blank expression. "Huh, Mark? Tell me why I'm such an idiot when I'm holding the love of my life in my arms again. She's afraid, Mark. She's afraid of commitment right now."
