Lydia always accepted less than what she deserved, and that includes him.
When he comes into town, she was one of the first to jump at the
chance of welcoming him into the community warmly,
but was that really the best idea?
They taunt and tease each other; dancing around the fact
that they are both utterly transfixed with the other's being. They
purposely hurt each other emotionally to be
proved right that they care...
But he goes to far. And she's pushed off into the deep end
of heartbreak with nothing to hold her back.
He knew he wasn't good for her. But he was selfish.
