---Hussain's POV ---

I got home and went to the kitchen, since I was starving.

I prayed that my excuse of mother wouldn't be in there and thankfully she wasn't.

I hadn't seen her two days. But my father was here so I knew that they didn't move out.

I made something and left upstairs to find it locked.

I knocked on the door and she didn't open it.

I did it again and still no response. I got so scared. I had left her alone with him, I swear to God if he did anything to her I'm going to murder him.

I knew I'd probably have to break it down so I started to.

"Hussain!" I heard yell.

I turned around.

"What the hell are you doing?" She asked.

"Your outside...I thought...nevermind. Where were you?" I asked.

"Oh, woh Priyanka came back today, so I was with her. I'm sorry I didn't tell you," she said.

I just hugged her. She was suprised by that but returned it.

"You have no idea how scared I got," I said.

"Sorry," she said.

"It's okay. I thought he probably did something," I said.

"If he even came near me,"she said raising her, like a parent normally does when indicating a slap is coming.

I automatically put my hand on my cheeck.

"I'm not going to slap you," she laughed.

"It's a force of habit. Those really hurt!" I said.

She laughed at that.

"I was going to say that I'd slap him," she said.

"Good. Now explain to me why this is locked," I said.

"Oh. I didn't want any of them to come into your room and mess something up," she said.

"Our," I said.

"What?" She asked.

"Our room," I said.

She smiled at that.

"Now can you give me the keys. I'm starving," I said.

"Sure," she said.

We went inside and I went straight to eating and she laughed at that.

"Don't judge me. I'm so hungry!" I said.

"I'm not judging you," she said.

"Here. You have some as well," I said.

"Thanks, but I had lunch with Priyanka," she said.

"Okay, more for me," I said and continued to eat.
