The Prophecy of Eve(A Ballad):

In the Land of Eve,
A Child was born,
In her birth she was forever forsworn,
To take the knife and cut it deep,
Into throats of enemies tormented with sleep.
And Eve was known for her beauty and grace,
Yet one - still - could never yet place,
That dark hibiscus hiding identity from victims,
As the lifeforce slowly weaned from their systems,
Bloody Eve was now an iron bane,
Eyes so striking, hair an unusual mane.

Beginning in poverty, ending in strife,
Destined for the future of man not wife,
Cries of children haunted her steps,
As poor Eve was bitten and bid never to rest.

She travelled to the Land of Adam with sword in hand,
Tore so viciously into the man,
His screams erupted into the night,
As the eyes of the beast grew milky and white.

Eve was welcomed home in victiorious plunder,
To live, and breathe, forever asunder.
Perhaps she foresaw her destiny to be,
Unattainable for they could not see...
Despite this the Land of Eve prospered and shone,
Reborn anew in the eyes of the sun.
